There was always a queue in reception. When we checked in the Meliá premium membeshhip which I have was not honoured: There is not enough staff. At some point there was only one person serving at reception and this person had to act like the concierge as well. We had to call our own taxis as there was always a long queue of people waiting. The taxi firm was surprised at this and mentioned " oh but Tryp should call for you". Also the lifts were always full and you always have to wait. There is max two people on the front desk which is too few (other reviews here verify this). We felt they had saved on staff but the costs were passed onto the customer in that our time were spent queuing instead.

Fab hotel in the more modern part of town. Excellently located across the road from the main attractions...Science Museum, Aquarium etc. Nice, modern, tidy room. Great bathroom. We overlooked the swimming pool. Friendly staff, very informative. Would recommend.

This hotel cannot be faulted. The service and comfort is always excellent. Breakfast has been improved and the lounge area has new furniture. Beds are comfortable and although we had a problem with the air conditioning on arrival this was attended to immediately.

Perfect location, in front of the Oceanic. Only 5 minutes walk. Huge breakfast buffet, fresh juices. Restaurant diner from 20u00. Clean rooms, noiseless, and hygienic, perfect beds. Public busses for only 1,5 Euro to the Old City Center just in front of the hotel (50 meters). 2 shopping malls on the corner.

We had a premium room, which of good size and kept very clean. The desk staff were very helpful, spoke excellent English, and organised taxis for us, explained bus routes etc. The situation is great, on the #19 bus route into town, costing 1.5 euros. It is next to the new science park. The wifi is a bit dodgy, but if you need to sign up the hoitel rewards programme then wifi is fine.

My husband and I stayed here last night for one night and found the location to be excellent. The beautiful young lady at the front desk named Ana provided outstanding service. She was smiling and extremely helpful. The hotel itself needs an upgrade. The room we had was ok but it did smell of smoke.

Stayed here many times over the last couple of years. Hotel clean tidy, in a great position for shopping, park, etc. 15 minutes from airport in taxi or car parking below. But the biggest problem for me is the WiFi is awful and at reception no interest do for me I will use one of the others nearby in future as I need Internet for work.

We enjoyed a wonderful 6 night stay stay in this modern hotel. We were in a Premium room which was large and always clean. Other reviewers have commented that the Breakfast is rather expensive. Well all I can say is that while not cheap it was of excellent quality and so substantial that most days we did not need to eat again until the evening. The hotel is across the road from a modern shopping centre ' Aqua' and the very impressive new Arts and Sciences complex. Frequent and cheap buses will get you into the old town center which is probably too far to walk for most people. Despite being near very busy roads the room was very quiet. Finally a very special mention to the staff. Admittedly the hotel was quite quiet when we visited but all the staff at all levels were absolutely lovely , helpful ,friendly and welcoming. We sincerely hope to visit them again in the near future.

First class experience over Christmas and the New Year. Rooms are quiet (even though on main road) well kept with comfortable bathroom. Staff are helpful and well organised. The location is superb. You can easily walk to the marina (dead out of season) or into the old town via the Turia park the great asset of Valencia. The hotel is next to two malls, and surrounded by excellent restaurants. The new architecture of the City of Arts and Sciences is there in front of your bedroom window. The aquarium is an expensive visit and perhaps impossible in the season due to numbers. We would unhesitatingly go there again. There are but two minor drawbacks - no coffee making in the room, and the sad industry wide habit of breakfast pricing. At 14 euros a head it is the equivalent of a reasonable lunch in a small restaurant in the centre.

Stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the property. It’s a bit of a distance from old town and those Sights, but perfectly close to the newer sights and the beach! Would definitely choose this hotel again. Breakfast was great and it’s available for almost 4 hours! We did have to pay an extra €10/day for the second person to eat.
