Stayed in this hotel in December. Its a very beautiful hotel. Rooms are very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly also. I only had minor problems with this hotel. Our room key kept deactivating even tho we didnt put it next to our phone. Which was annoying sint we only stayed 4 night. Breakfast was oke. Wasnt much variety and if we didnt ask we wouldnt get fixed ommelets. Other than that I would go back.
We spent 2 nights, our family of 3 (parents with a young teenager) and enjoyed our time at Lidotel. The hotel is super well located with a nice mall (Sambil) just in front of the hotel where you can go shopping or enjoy food or a movie. Hotel is safe, with gate security at the entrance. Room was clean and spacious with a sate, hot water. The staff is friendly. Breakfast was not that good but given the situation in Venezuela we found the breakfast acceptable and the service really good. The pool was clean but with not service. You have to go and ask for something and wait. Would return to this hotel.
The best facilities of the whole city, very comfortable rooms, amazing pool area, Excellent guest care, good location, maximum security, across the street you can fiend Sambil mall where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, cinema, among others. 100% recommended.
We have stayed on this property in the past and had a good impression, but after this second visit, it will be very hard to decide to stay here. The hotel has a somewhat nice looking decoration and ambiance however the rooms need renovations after several years. The beds that used to be very comfortable, are not anymore, I guess the mattresses are the same after 10 years. The breakfast that used to be plentiful are now very reduced and offers very little options. But there is one thing that is the worse of all, after a long day of working I dared to fill the bathtub in order to relax a little bit, but the water came out brown!!! In fact so brown that it looked like sewage. I emptied the bathtub and tried again, thinking that maybe it was a temporary issue, but no, the brown water came again. There's no need to tell you I did not bath in that water or brushed my teeth. If a hotel cannot manage to have clean water for its guests, it's better to close it, since it represents a sanitary risk. I left the hotel and went to a different place that offered clean water as expected. I will never stay in this place again. Please take a look at the photo I posted.
The hotel is in a good location, very attractive, clean, nice rooms, an attractive pool area, and a terrific breakfast included in the room rate. Unfortunately, the hotel is very poorly managed. We were traveling in Venezuela for 2 weeks, and using this hotel as our "base". We stayed for 2 nights upon arrival, left for a week, came back for 3 nights, left for a few days, and returned for 2 nights. They had our reservation for when we first arrived, and we would remind them of our return dates when we left, but both times when we returned, they 'lost' our reservation, and then since we 'didn't have a reservation', charged us a higher room rate than our initial stay. Over the 2 weeks we were there, the price of our room went up by 20%. Each of our 3 arrivals were late at night; we were the only people (2 families; 2 rooms) checking in, and the night staff was so poorly trained, it would take them 20-30 minutes to get us checked into a room. The economy of Venezuela is in very bad condition. To save money, the hotel has closed 2 of their 4 floors of rooms. The first room they gave us didn't have a door to the toilet room (the doors are glass, and this one must have been broken, but they didn't bother to replace it with a door from one of the closed rooms), which we didn't discover until after we checked in our family of three (including teenage daughter) sometime after midnight, and we were too tired to move. All 3 rooms we stayed in at the hotel were missing items due to lack of attention to detail -- a coffee pot in the room, but no coffee & only 1 coffee mug; missing a trash can by the desk, no door to the toilet; etc. We were entertaining family in the hotel during our stay, and on several days, the bar had no beer. We ended up going outside the hotel and buying 4 cases of beer ourselves to bring back to the hotel for a birthday party of 30 people we were having at the hotel. The hotel charged "U.S. prices" for most things, despite not having "U.S. expenses" (lower labor costs, almost free electricity & water, etc) and not providing "U.S. service". We will stay somewhere else next trip.
I arrived just before midnight from airport Valencia/VE 20 people at the same time wanted to have a room. Only 1 staff at frontdesk. Bathroom had only cold water at 05.00 h am. Toilet did not flush properly. No international phone calls possible as Gorvernment forbit it (....) Breakfast buffet of a 1-star hotel (old bread, no butter, no jam, no joghurt, no maintenance of food containers, etc.) Staff does not speak English at all.
The hotel is very safe, has a security gate that is manned by personnel. The hotel is modern and clean and the staff are helpful. It has a nice outdoor swimming pool for families with kids. The bar is a typical hotel lobby bar but manageable. There is direct access to the shopping mall which has couple of other restaurants and a TGI Fridays if you want a beer or two. Would definitely stay again, just be aware there is no laundry service on the weekend
this is a wonderful hotel, not only the service, but the food in every hour of the day, also the good speed internet, it is very secure witch is a main concern in this country, they also have a good transportation.
In the Lidotel they do everything to make you feel comfortable and safe in Valencia. The check-in went very smooth and the staff was helpful. The rooms were big and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was very good. WiFi was all over the hotel. Just across the hotel is Sambil mall for shopping and movies. The hotel has a beautiful pool.
Great Modern Hotel located in Valencia. The rooms are large and comfortable and the pool is fantastic. The attention from the entrance is notable and the Lobby is terrific. The Restaurant Lobby (Le Noveau) is well decorated, but the food is not good at all it should be improved!
