I stayed at this hotel with family, they first messed up our booking, following by a very small family room. It was literally 3 single beds in one room. Right squeeze! The key card to the room didn't work, they had to reprogram this daily, which was annoying. The temperature of the water in the shower was either too cold or really hot. We decided to have half board and the food was very repetitive I could predict what we were having by day 3. So for the good bits now, the location is good central to lots of places to go to, taxi s were easy to hail down. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and the place was clean. Would I come here again, the answer would be a no based on re number of problems we had daily.

In general, the hotel needs some time spending in maintenance. There is few bits and pieces that need attention. Some painting will work in the rooms, the blinds/blackouts need to be replace asap! The window room has an automatic blind, which is good, but either is to larger for window frame or there isn't enough space between the window and the blind. The blind is all ripped off on the sides (with actual holes, which they sticked tape over it to cover) because of the fact is going up and down it scratches against the frame. The bathroom is big with a good size bathtub, but the power/super shower head or it is on the wrong place or it is too short. Is placed on the end side of bathtub wall, so because the tub shape, you can't be totally underneath of it. Also, the shower glass is narrow, is about 50 cm, so having a shower and not wetting the floor is a mission impossible. Because of that, there is some water stains/mould on the marbled floor/bathtub sides. The hotel is located right in front of the Marina, the beach is just 10 minutes walking, with great restaurants (try the Gabbeach!). Metro is also 5/10 minutes. The breakfast is a normal/continental breakfast. It has the scrambled eggs and bacon yes. Good luck having juice. The 3 days I was there the juice machine was broken, but one of the days they a few jars with pineapple and orange juice. Size wise is not a big hotel, but very good on quality - price relation. The staff have a poor English, they try, fair play.

We stayed about a week at Marina Atarazanas during MICE Film festival in Valencia. Our room was clean and equipped with all basic things. It's true that the reception desk and all other staff were friendly and helpful. But I felt, some essentials like drinking water and some tea coffee making devices were missing. However, the hotel is close to the beach and all sorts of public transport. There are several restaurants nearby having different cuisines from all almost over the world! Breakfast served at the hotel was also good. We didn't expect too much, so we liked our stay at Marina Atarazanas.

Our room was basic - small fridge, no kettle, needed a complete top to bottom clean and re decorated not just a little freshen up. The bedroom window was dirty and the edges very scruffy. The bathroom needs a complete clean from top to bottom and re decorated. I would have to say it is more like a 2 star hotel though the bedding was very clean and the maids work hard for the little time they have in each room. The beds were comfortable. The dining room is pleasant and Pedro, the waiter is very nice and helpful as was Luca and the lady waitress. The reception staff were lovely too. The roof top bar is not anything to do with the hotel and is open Friday, Sat and Sunday evenings from 7.30 until 2. I wasn't impressed with the bar girls (very snobby) bacardi and coke cost 6 euros. You are not allowed to take drinks from the hotel up to the roof bar ( I did because no one told me until the last night that it was not run by the hotel) I was told not to take drinks up there again. The roof bar attracts a young crowd mainly and the music is aimed for these young people. I was on holiday with my 21 year old son but he hated the roof bar and the music. Quite a snobby set seem to attend and I didn't feel that they wanted older English people up there. I was not made to feel welcome and had I known that the roof bar was not anything to do with the hotel and was only open 3 evenings a week I probably would not have booked to go. We never found the gym as I think it was up on the roof and we could not access the roof unless on the 3 evenings when the bar is open. The beach is a good one around 15 minutes walk. Mercadona nearby and a Lidl down the street. Not much to do in the area around the hotel. We were half board and if you want lunch instead of dinner you can swap. Unfortunately I have to have a gluten free diet so my choice was limited but the mail courses are not very filling and my son did not enjoy one single meal and in honesty nor did I. I would not book this hotel again and cannot recommend it although we can both recommend the staff.

the location is grate just 10 min walking to the beach... the staff was friendly, the WIFI excellent, even if you are just close to the hotel you get WIFI for that I was just very pleased....just the rooms and the air conditioning need improving... for breakfast not a problem you will find on each corner nice coffeehouse with nice pastry or breakfast menu...

I booked this hotel because I was looking for a place near the beach but failed to read the reviews first how wrong I was! First of all the blonde lady at the check in was very rude with me and looked as if she could not be bothered being there, a really bad customer service experience The rooms air con wasnt working properly, the lift was only working at certain floors and the breakfast was inadequate This hotel needs a lot of improvements especially with the lady at the reception Regards

Excellent value for money. I've stayed in hotels that I've paid a lot more for that don't have anywhere near the excellent staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and good towels. I stayed one night and paid £51. A total bargain.

I spent 4 days in Valencia and I stayed in Hotel Marina Atarazanas. I really enjoyed my stay here because it was closed to many shops, to the subway stop, close to the harbour and around 15 min walk to the beach. I was very satisfied about the breakfast and the cleaning service. Also I really appreciated that the personel was very friendly and there was a man at the recepcion very patient and honest and he helped us a lot. The only thing I didn't like were the dirty windows 🙂 that impeded us to admire the view from the 7th floor and the light bulb from the bathroom that was making a weird noise unbeareble. In the end it has a good value for money, even if the hotel was a little bit far from the city center, but it's close to the City of Arts and Sciences. I recommend you to choose this hotel if you want to be in a quiet area, but close to the beach and if you don't want to spend a fortune for a city break in Valencia.

The hotel is quite small, and no too fancy - but well located near the sea and with great fares in relation to what you get. Rooms are small, but not tight, and the portier service along with cleaning and room service splendible.

the staff were very efficient. great location near the port; short walk to the beach; short walk to metro station; offer bikes for hire; there is a bar; breakfast is optional- not great value so maybe dont bother.
