I'm going to start with the positives: • Good location for the park as well as the Arts and Science centre. (Which is spectacular) • Reasonable group social spaces. • air con in room. Negatives: • sad tired rooms that weren't particularly clean. • poor amenities in room (no tea or coffee facilities). • underwhelming and unloved gym and pool area. Not appropriate for the size of hotel and number of guests. • staff were seemingly helpful but lacked conviction. We had to report a maintenance issue with the room twice in a 3 hour period as it was not actioned by staff. • booking.com advertised an air port shuttle which was 'we can call you a taxi'. Generally underwhelmed and disappointed. Had this hotel not advertised and priced itself as a 4* we would have been able to overlook a lot of the issues mentioned.
Nice hotel, but not a top 4 star... great location, good sized room, friendly staff, clean, decent bar - but nothing too special. didnt try the breakfast but they did let us have some coffee, as there is no cafe in the hotel where you could buy seperately, and the bar is closed during the morning. Would recommend though!
The hotel is in a very good location for visiting all of the places of interest in Valencia, you are in walking distance of the science park and museum, the old town and the beach, good walking shoes are recommended but you can hire bikes and the city has designated cycle lanes which are very safe. The hotel breakfast is very good one of the best breakfast buffets that I have had.
Although this hotel is not in the City Centre, it's a decent location as both the city and the beach are within walking distance. The hotel overall is of a good standard, the beds were not the most comfortable. Which was a shame really. And if like us you like fresh air and and a window open, the streets below can be a little noises. Parking, like with many hotels was secure, but at €14.00 a day. The staff were most helpful on check-in.
Clean & modern inside and in the rooms/bathroom. Friendly staff. We were offered free parking for our motorcycle, but then they tried to charge us when we left! The bar area is nice but the bar doesn't open until 7pm, and there's not much nearby in the way of bars either, the surrounding area is a bit soulless. The bed was hard and the air conditioning was not strong enough and we were very uncomfortable in the heat. The pool is tiny and in the shade in the afternoon. The breakfast has an impressive array of cakes, and the doughnuts were a great, if unhealthy way to start my day! However the savoury items are not as good, and there was a huge queue for the coffee machines. Great location for Oceanografico. Good value for money but nothing special.
Large hotel with very friendly staff. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable also large bathroom. Breakfast was also good with a wide variety of cold cuts and fruits and good coffee. Easy access to the city centre, either by walking through a huge beautiful park or bus ride. Small swimming pool on the roof with a few sun beds but rather hot so didn't stay long.
Good clean modern hotel. Average service, but didn't have breakfast. Opened windows and got eaten alive by the mozzies!! Our room was very average, but a good price. Other more expensive rooms I'm sure are better!
We stayed one night in this hotel. The location is amazing, all major museums are within walking distance. Beds are tiny though. I also had a bad smell in my room and the receptionists kindly offered me free breakfast for my family so the service was great.
Booked through booking. com for a short city break . Hotel was ideally situated for bus / taxi to city or beach. Stop for hop on bus was across the road. Hotel was bright and airy with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean and comfortable although noise at night . Would recommend a room at end of corridor. Breakfast was adequate but don't expect a typical English breakfast. We had one meal in the evening and it was very good and excellent value for money. There are restaurants across from the hotel which are ok but if eating out would recommend the city. We enjoyed Cappuccino restaurant. The pool at the hotel was disappointing. Very small and unsuitable for elderly or young children as very deep and access was steep, unstable and slippery steps. No shade at pool for morning sun. Sun not at pool area in afternoon. Area in need of refurb Hotel good value for money
The Hotel is located nicely near the fairgrounds and is very accessable by car. You do not Need to enter the small raods in Valencia. The rooms are nice, just the beds are very uncomfortable - they are extremely hard.
