I cannot comment on the hotel since we only visited the spa but I'm pretty sure that after Today I will never ever stay there. Sinche the weather was pretty cold and everything close on Easter day, we decided to spend some time on a spa we could reach on foot. We chose The Spa on GHP due to the alluring pictures on the website and I regret this choice. Price for access to Spa and fitness is 50 CHF that is enormous considering the poor service. The fitness is very good, large amount of new machines both for cardiofitness and anearobic workout. Bypassing the fact that nobody was there to care about customers this is the only positive thing about the structure. The spa was really disappointing, only one swimming pool with no Jacuzzi, the hammam was not working in both ladys and gents changing rooms, only one sauna was operational but too small to serve 6 couples. I saw hotel guests going away after few minutes due to the inexisting leisure activities. Last but not least shower was cold on men's changing room so I decided to have it in my nice and comfortable hotel to avoid health issues. I made my complaint to the reception but it was useless, they didn't even think to compensate the bad experience we had, they just seem to be schocked by having an unsatisfied guest. So I hope that they will read this review and think that 5 stars hotel should ALWAYS offer top level service even on Easter and before end of season!

The hotel has a very good location on a golf course and has a nice spa with indoor swimming pool.. They have Italian restaurant and nice bar and they have Memphis restaurant and Le chalet they are both out of the hotel in the heart of Crans Montana.. Even though he is an old hotel but the prices good and the hall stuff very friendly.. The hotel location is the best to everything.. Also nice Heath care clinic

This hotel is lovely and I believe it would be just as nice to stay in summer as in winter. I wasn't there to ski so cannot comment on ski access. The hotel had a lovely comfy feel. Check in was smooth and friendly. The room was available ahead of time and check out was equally casual. This is not a new hotel so the advantage is the rooms are very spacious and the bathroom was renovated and beautifully equipped. The balcony was huge with lovely furniture including two sun beds. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and the service was friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it.

It was my second time with my family in Switzerland and we opted to stay in this hotel . The hotel was very good . The rooms was nice and clean . The staff was very friendly and helpful. The foods in the hotel was very good especially the fondue it was just amazing . Highly recommended to everyone .

The service was amazing, staff very friendly, excellent food and drinks. My only disappointment was the rooms, carpet, furniture in the hotel were depressing and dilapidated. It definitely needs an uplift, however, I felt the hotel overall was very clean and that's all I really need to be comfortable.

Had a lovely 4 night stay at this hotel. Location was good. A few minutes walk to the main streets and golf course/ ski school. Staff was very friendly, reception, porter and housekeeping. Rooms very clean though one was significantly smaller than the other. The decor was quaint/old fashioned which we found to be lovely. The view from the rooms was just amazing. Breakfast buffet was good though didn't appear consistent, one day there wasn't cut fresh fruit, one day the condenses coffee milk was missing and so on. But still it was good and service was nice. Free internet only in the restaurant/lounge area (not even at the reception). Beautiful big and clean pool.

I stayed in this hotel in jan 2016 and there was only one room booked, and that was my room :). As such a great idea to have such a big hotel 100% exclusive, but unfortunately the management decided to close all the facilities. No bar, no restaurant, no spa, etc. I have to admit that the staff is very friendly, but it is of course unacceptable that the hotel did not communicate that there were no services available. Either full service, or simply close the hotel. The cosmetics in the bathroom were used by other guests. This is not acceptable. I fully understand that this is the worst rated 5 star hotel in the region. no free wifi in the room

I had the chance the experience this hotel and love the setting , at the step of the city ,surround by a beautiful golf course and forest .Top class facility ,well set spa and fitness. The service was incredible ,always on top of it and ready to serve you anytime. .Food was good and the chef was very creative ,sommelier was top notch . I will be coming back

The hotel is a beautiful, more than 100 year old building set in an immaculately maintained golf course in the stunning mountains of Crans Montana. It is a short 5 minute walk from the centre of Crans and has a spa and superb restaurant in the hotel. It's not cheap of course and I was surprised that there was free wifi only in the lobby and no irons in the rooms, or available in the hotel. The staff are excellent throughout the hotel and did offer to iron my shirt, but obviously with a charge. An almost perfect experience, but at a price.

The rooms are overall very disappointing: either they are small or in need of a serious refurbishment. Spa facilities and common areas (staircase/corridors/lifts) are a bit worn out. Avoid wedding celebrations as most of the usual services for regular guests in the hotel are completely disregarded (even the swimming pool, which is converted to a wedding ballroom, cannot be used that day). There are better hotels for much cheaper in the area.
