Golden Tulip CDG Airport Villepinte

Nice hotel close to the airport. Confusing finding the shuttle pick up location in the airport though. And getting on the Pink line. We arrived about 9:30 am and the receptionist was snotty when we asked if we could check in early. So left our luggage in locked room and took train into Paris for the day. Funny remarks on toiletries in room. Not much for restaurants in the area. Unusual that the King size room had a crib included/set up already. Worth the money paid.

clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, staff are professional. We had a family room, room was big, nice bathroom. Far from Paris but near the airport. Shuttle is free. Shuttle stops in every hotel around the area. You can reach Paris by riding in a shuttle to the train station in gatwick airport. But it took a lot of our time. Train was 10€ each person going to Paris.uber was 45 to 55€. We were 4, so we decided to just go by uber the next day. Then we moved to Paris & came back to golden Tulip the day before our flight to Venice.

I had worst experience with this hotel. AC was not working in the room we were in. We came out late from Paris visit. Hotel receptionist said they will send someone. After calling 2-3 times, then we were told they don't have service staff to fix the AC. Hotel was full and they could not shift to other room. Lady receptionist said as "courtesy" they will give breakfast complementary. I was not able to sleep properly without AC on summer night. Next day after when we are checking out, we were charged for breakfast. The guy at reception said there is no note on the system to indicate there was any AC problem or free breakfast offered to our room. Hotel does not have basic customer service. On top of that I was charged more for booking via Orbitz. Local price was much cheaper.

Our stay started rather well by a warm greeting from the clerk. From there on it went down the hill. I decided to take a shower to refresh myself after a long trip before dinner. Unfortunately the shower was clogged. I reported the issue to the clerk. He explained that there was nobody to fix it today, so he offered us a second room. The shower was functional, but one of the two small light bulbs was out, leaving us in a semi-dark bathroom. In the morning we will have to take the shower in one room, then finish our toilet in the other room, hoping nobody in the hallway will catch us. That would have been fun if the air conditioning had been functional and the price of the room reasonable. But that was not the case. The room temperature resolutely stayed at 23C (74F) in spite of our setting to 16C. (I would suggest the manager to remove the control box which lets the user believe he can choose the temperature in his room.) And as for the price, $160.00, I can't help thinking about the kind of room we could have got for this amount...

Very nice staff and atmosphere. Will indeed visit again.

Excellent hotel for a stopover at CDG airport. Shuttle bus to hotel is free and easy to connect for the next flight out. Hotel restaurant is also good and staff are great.

- Restaurant price are high compare to neighborhood

Nice hotel and very friendly staff Nice hotel and very friendly staff Nice hotel and very friendly staff

The room was large, clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and perfect for our stop-over before going on a river cruise. The shuttle took us to the hotel from the airport and then back to the airport the next day.

The Golden Tulip hotel is top notch establishment. I liked everything about it.

Nice place, good breakfast, ride to airport, very comfortable

The hotel is good, but getting to it from the airport takes time. The bus winds around the airport and its vicinity quite a bit. This is a good deal if you do not plan to visit Paris and just need a comfortable sleepover. However, if you have a bit of time, go to the city - by train it takes only 30 minutes to the very center.

This is one of a cluster of about 15 or 20 hotels just west of A1 autoroute almost at the main highway entrance to the airport. It has most of the things a good hotel should have: 24-hour desk, decent and clean rooms, good Internet connection (needs renewal every 6 hours, though). Two double-paned windows one inside the other keep highway and airport noise to a minimum, but if you open the windows you hear it all. Hotel food is decent but greatly overpriced in the restaurant for all meals (17 euro buffet breakfast, main dishes 18+ euro lunch and dinner). I never tried room service. Shuttle bus to the airport every 20 minutes of so, 6 a.m. to midnight. Parking is expensive, but there are a few free places at the hotel entry driveway. Value is decent in an area of convenient if very overpriced hotels.

Good place to stay night before flight. A bit pricy on the food, but otherwise good value. My only complaint was that they were upgrading their computer system so everything shut down at night (9:30 PM) including the internet and WiFi.

close to CDG airport with free shuttle to hotel. Shuttle buse doesn't stop at terminal 2. easy access to train. all staff speak English. will stay there again.

After reading recent negative reviews about the Golden Tulip I was very pleasantly surprised about my overnight stay at the hotel. The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful, my room was comfortable and clean, and the shuttle to the airport was on time. I can't comment on the food as I didn't have dinner or breakfast there. It seemed a bit pricey. Overall, a very positive experience.

I love it. Nearby are 2 restaurants, one Asian and one European.

The hotel location was good, staff helpful, and it was clean. Lacking in the bathroom were towel racks, bathtub safety rack, and toilet roll holder. Wake-up call was punctual.
