We stayed here before an extended stay in a condo. Good amenities and excellent staff. Excellent work out facility.

Should not be considered a 4 star resort, needs to be updated!! Felt rundown to my husband and I. I think this may have been a 4 star resort about 30 years ago.I was unimpressed by the resort, I expected more for Vail. The carpets are stained from all of the winter activity, all the wood is scratched, dented and nicked. The hairdryer in the room was filthy, so full of gunk it hardly worked, even after I tried to clean it out. We had room 41 creekside. It was a king size room. We had our room cleaned and no towels were left, we called and asked for towels, they never showed up. The place was overwhelmed when we arrived, there was no place to park just to check in. They were very busy over this weekend, apparently they had 4 weddings. Steak skewers were not good at all, they were chewy, over salted and did not have all of the ingredients as stated in the menu. The rest of the food we ordered was really good. This was a 3 star resort as best, and you will be charged a resort fee, which frankly I don't understand why that is not included in the room fee and the pool was over crowed. I would not stay here again unless it gets a much needed upgrade.

The hotel room was worn with peeling wallpaper in the bedroom and a window that did not fully close. The room really needed to be renovated. The bathroom was dirty with smears on the walls and bathroom door, and the sink and faucet were very dirty. Also, the sink didn't drain. We liked the location and enjoyed the almost 2 mile walk into town along the creek. We would not stay here again, there are much better (and clean) properties in Vail.

Best genuine ski-in/out in Vail. Great amenities. Service has improved since last year. Bar has great apres drinks/food. Full gym is a nice plus. Cascade Village location isn't as prime as being in Lionshead or Vail Village, but the complimentary hotel shuttle runs very frequently. Small point, but the outdoor hot-tubs can get crowded during peak hours. Also, lots of kids at times which isn't ideal when you want an adult atmosphere with your friends.

Perfect weather contributed to a lovely stay in Vail. First time there and could have stayed another few days. Biking just between the Villages in Vail would have been nice, but their bus system is so easily available that we could get anywhere without a problem. Walked the sweet town that reminded me of Baden - Baden Germany. Hiking great, and enjoyed the gondola ride up the mountain, small hike across to the other gondola and back down to the Village.

Great location. Right on the river. Excellent service. Food is pricey. Main pool is small for number of rooms. Stayed in a one bedroom condo. Loved the extra space but the condo was nowhere near as nice as a standard hotel room in the main building. The room was old looking and dirty.

My family loves staying at the Vail Cascade because it is nice without being pretentious. The location is great- right on Gore Creek. We especially love the pool which is heated comfortably so you can get right in. Also, the hot tubs are wonderful. Although this hotel could use a little sprucing up, the location and comfort make this a place we stay 2-3 times per year. I would like to see a better food menu and some happy hour specials!

We had a wonderful experience at Cascade. We were greated at the front and offered a room upgrade. The room was beautiful and had amazing views if the mountain and river. We loved the hot tubs and relaxing fire features. The shuttle into Vail Valley was a huge bonus and very convenient. We can't wait to stay here again

Perfect location and amenities - something to do for younger and not so younger crowd. Skiing slopes a few minutes away. The shuttle from hotel to the slopes runs every few minutes, excellent staff and very friendly! Excellent restaurant on premises, and an abundance of gourmet restaurants nearby. 2 heated pools and perfectly maintained grounds - we had a great stay and will be going back for sure.

Enjoyed our three day stay. Food at the resort was very good. We tried the pizzas, ahi tacos, and lamb meatballs. Only bump was an outlet malfunction in the bathroom. Also a good idea to ask in you're room is in the dog allowed rooms. Shuttle worked great and staff were super friendly and helpful

I would give 5 stars if they had a better valet service.

We had a great time here. Perfect distance for a nice walk to Vail Village and back. Great pool and friendly staff. We'll be back!

Good hotel, away from village but has a ski lift which is nice. Ripoff with the "resort fee" as I didn't use anything included in it, they could have at least included breakfast in it.

Was upgraded to a suite without even asking, very spacious room with an office area and a view of the creek and chair lift. A little confusing to find the room as the hotel is very large. Only negative is the $25 charge for fitness center we did not use, supposedly free parking and wi-fi.

Excellent staff, good hotel, I'll be back. The ski in and ski out location makes you feel pampered and the ski concierge only adds to the benefits of this hotel

The Hotel was great, chair lift within walking distance, great pools and hot tubs, large rooms, only complaint was hidden charges for parking and amenities.

Completely satisfied with hotel. Location is excellent. Shuttle to Lionshead and Vail Village was frequent and convenient. Spa and health club very nice. Ski rental shop and ski lift at the back door was great.

Found a great deal on this hotel -- its a tough market in Vail! Vail Cascade is a lovely resort nestled in the mountains to the west of Lionshead. The resort has a lift from the hotel with a really convenient equipment storage area -- with wonderful staff that retrieve your skis, carry them outside for you, put them away at the end of the day --- I didn't know I would appreciate this service (or even use if for that matter), but when you return from a long day on the slopes, it was much appreciated. The staff is incredible -- so friendly and accommodating -- I loved the guys at the front door --- so nice, so friendly, so helpful, so fun. The spa is amazing with tons of equipment, great change rooms (with hot tubs) and again, nice people. The shuttle bus runs constantly to Vail Village and Lionshead so we were able to leave our car (in the free underground parking garage) and visit the villages on foot. I can't say enough good about this resort -- I was there with my 15 year old son & we both very much enjoyed it!

Good hotel for the money (180 a night in high ski season), did not appreciate $25 per day resort fee when I did not use ANY amenities (they should have at lease included breakfast in it). NOT in town, need to take a 15 min shuttle to get too Village or Lionshead!

Really nice hotel and good location. Has a chair lift right outside the door. Staff was very nice and accomodations were really good. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
