We spent the Thanksgiving holiday at the hotel and had a great time. The staff was very helpful in helping with recommendations of what to do, where to eat and how to get around.

Hotel was very nice and in a great location, staff was very laid back. Breakfast was very good.

Many trips to Vail but first stay at this hotel. Really a pleasant surprise. Very European fell and breakfast was nice. Location great if you want to be in the village, but a little noisy in the summer with the windows open.

everything was great. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful with anything and everything. But most importantly they were all very pleasant. And the complimentary breakfast - outstanding!

The Austria House is in a great location for easy access to the ski lifts and evening entertainment. The staff is not only helpful but always wanting to exceed the guests expectations.

We stayed 5 nights in early August 2014, room 412. Beautiful room with two comfortable chairs and a footstool, a balcony with a flower box that draws hummingbirds, and a heated bathroom floor. It also had a mini refrigerator and an excellent Keurig coffee maker. When the heater runs at night the air becomes very dry. I guess that explains the humidifier in the closet. We never used it, though. Our room did not face Vail mountain, but the view was lovely nonetheless. We were just steps from the in town bus stop, which we used daily. The clock tower chimes were so charming! I would stay here again.

Thank goodness some of the traditional luxury of the Vail Village still exists. West Vail still can't compare. This is a special place to be enjoyed by all. This hotel still has the feel you are in the mountains, but is right next to Gore Ck. and the old foot bridge into the Village. Location, location, location with excellent rooms and service as well!

We're not winter sports enthusiasts, but we stayed here for one night in June while traveling and had a very nice time. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the included breakfast was much better than your typical "continental" breakfast, and the location simply can't be beat if you're interested in checking out the village.

Super friendly staff; great location. The hotel is very small so you get personalized attention. They make everything easy for you! The breakfast is amazing. I did not give full stars because they overbooked the hotel and we were moved from a king bed room to a room with double beds. I'm grateful they managed to find a room for us, but the double beds were very small to sleep in!

Good location Great service Late check in is only down

We have stayed at the Austria Haus (condo side) twice during the winter, but this was our first summer visit. Same great service, same great accommodations. So many options of outdoor activities it is hard to choose. We love the breakfast buffet. The entire service staff is eager to please.

The Hotel is located in the heart of Vail village and the staff is very accommodating. The 'extended' continental breakfast included with your stay is a good deal too.

Great location for walking through Vail Village

We stay at the Austria Haus every year and always have the same, wonderful and consistent experience! We can't wait to come back next year. New rooms, bathrooms, etc. I have stayed at the Lodge and Sonnenalp and Austria Haus is equal, if not better in service and quality.

Very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast every morning, bathrobe and slippers(!!) for the hot tub.

Smaller hotel, but very nice and great location in Vail Village right on the creek. The free breakfast was excellent, a different spread each day. The concierge was very helpful and had good recommendations. Our only complaints were that the hot-tub wasn't too hot and the heat in our room had some issues. If we had it to do over again, we may have chosen to stay at The Lodge only because it was the same price, it's closer to the mountain, and has a brand new spa/fitness facility.

Location was perfect. The pool overlooking the creek was stunning. In a crowded weekend in Vail, the hotel was an oasis of charm and comfort. Rarely is a resort charge a good value, but here you get a very good breakfast, free valet parking, and both wifi and a good business center all for $20/day.

Perfectly located in the center of town, steps from the bridge and Vail Village, this hotel was a complete joy to stay in. The staff was helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely and intimate. The room was clean and we had a great balcony. Like most places in Vail and the CO mts, there was a $20 per night resort charge included in our bill, but they threw in free parking, which is a lovely bonus in Vail.

This hotel is small in size but big on atmosphere and comfort. we would highly recommend it to all ages of travelers. It had something for everyone!

The staff at the front desk was always friendly and attentive and went out of their way to be helpful. They upgraded our room without us asking them to. The room was clean, spacious and nicely appointed. The pool was well maintained and just the right temperature. You have a great view of the river and the mountainside from the pool area. Large pool towels are provided and padded lounges make this small yet intimate pool area enjoyable. Our only complaint was that although the breakfast included provided a wide assortment of foods, when we asked whether they had plain bagels instead of blueberry to go with the smoked salmon, we were met with a less than enthusiastic response. Otherwise excellent service and we'll definitely be back.
