If you are an outdoors kind of person or a dedicated sportsman and only looking for some place to rest your head, then this is the place for you. For the two us, just were just passing through to our final location in Landtry, Texas. The motel is still going through its remolding stage, which includes the reception room when you drive up to check in. The rooms are very small but acquired for one or two persons. The HVAC units are outdated but functional. You will need to call ahead if you arrive in the evening to have then turn on the HVAC unit in your room; otherwise, the room will take all night to cool down. The most memorable item are the two trees located at the south side of the motel, I am sure these trees have seen a lot over their life span. If no other rooms are available in town, then plan for the lest and hope for the best.

Nice roadside motel. Clean and basic. Rooms do not have phones. Bed was comfortable.

Convenient location, center of town. Clean room. A/C worked great (104 outside). Had to get room key rescanned at the front office everday or we couldn't get back in the room.

This was the best price for a hotel in Uvalde, Room was very comfortable and nice shower. We would stay here again, reminds me of the days before the super hotels.

Room was nice enough. Small town so I dont expect much. They should pave their paking lot and care about the 1st impressions made. I was NOT impressed. Sidewalk in front of doors were debried and needed to be swept. Don't seem to care about their appearance. Embarassing when you don't. I only stayed their because other hotels were full and it was my last resort.

The hotel is ordinary but very clean. Front office is friendly and location is very convienient to everthing. [...]

Everything in the room was clean, ready, free wi-fi, and appliances worked great. I liked the shower, it was spacious and the room was very comfortable. We put to use our mini-refrigerator for our Thanksgiving leftovers, heated up in the microwave ~those two items~ saved us money. It has friendly staff, who politely checked me in on a Major Holiday. The surrounding rooms (guests) were quiet at night. No crazy parties or rudeness what so ever. I'm sure we'll stay here on our next trip to visit the family again.

i was on a short trip to visit family and was very comfortable staying in my room, it felt like home. i would have no problem staying there again.

It was tricky finding the hot water in the shower, but the girl at the desk explained that I should try going the opposite direction, since some of the knobs are on backwards. That worked. So there was hot water, although it was tepid at best. The parking situation in front of the room was very tight, but that's because many of the other guests had large trucks with racks of serious industrial equipment (oilfield things?).

Hotel was as described - a basic motel - cable, working A/C, comfortable beds, Large sunken shower. Restaurant adjacent, others nearby. Not anything fancy, but a nice comfortable room at less cost than other hotels in town. Room has refrigerator and microwave
