Clean and in a ideal location to stop hut out of Zurich but with good access to city and close to local transport. Able to self cater but you would need to hire pans ect from Hotel. Staff are friendly although not a lot around with self check in.

Clean and big room with own balcony and kitchen, one minute walk from Aldi for your daily necessities. Beds were terrific! Staff was friendly. The entrance for the parking facility had a sharpe bend, which for large cars is a little inconvienient.

I was travel to this area for business and after staying in few hotel, i decided to stay in this studio apartment and as usual i bring my wife with me, so we stay and we can cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner, considering Swiss is really not a cheap country to eat-out, so this hotel apartment is great for us, plus it also have a washing machine and balcony, so its really perfect, nearby you can find a lidl supermarket, just a walking distance (100m) and you can buy your groceries. The parking also easy, it cost you 10 CHF per day. the location also very nice, just exist the highway and not so far way from the exit. we feel at home at this hotel and there was one incident with one of the staff, which i think is not related to the hotel review itself but all and all, it is a good stay and i recommend this place for everyone coming to this area.

Hotel is correct. Breakfast is a little bit basic. Bedroom is to warm without possibility to change temperature. No restaurant for lunch or dinner. Hotel is located near the rail way, so difficult to sleep with open windows.

Bed & breakfast hotel, nice rooms with fully equipped kitchen. Self service reception, you have to pay at the machine. Breakfast and parking you have to pay extra. Massage service you can book extra (it's in the hotel) supermarket near by just 300 m to walk. You're near to Zurich city, airport and other nice towns.

For the purpose of our trip the hotel was great. Everything worked for us: - Location (for our trip) - Nice Food - Good coffee - Service - Free bike rental Rooms are spacious, clean, nice little terrace. At the end very nice stay.

This was the best hotel i stayed during my Europe tour, stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms are very spacious, king size beds, has kitchen, cutlery items, coffee maker, Iron & Iron board, locker, very clean and spacious washrooms, Had an amazing experience here with peaceful surrounding. Veg breakfast was arrnaged for Indians in our group, Staff is also very helpful

Stayed here for one night enroute to Germany. The hotel is located out of the city (some may say its location is isolated) and making things worst, its located besides the high-speed train track, when one could hear the noises from the passing trains which could disrupt your sleep. These maybe the "weaknesses" of the hotel but as for the other aspects, it was great! This hotel is actually a convert from a service apartment and its very spacious and all the household facilities are provided, a kitchen where one could cook his own meals (cooker and microwave oven are available), wash your clothes using the washing machine, aircon and mini fridge (not common in most hotels in Europe) etc, just to name a few and a balcony for you to view the scenery. Our bedroom is a separate room within the unit and it offers very soft and comfortable beds with auto window blinds. It would be better if there is a bathtub but its ok if it doesn't. Overall, I think the unit can house 4 or 6 people comfortably! Breakfast was served at the lobby café. The café is a bit small and one can walk well without bumping into other diners sitting next to you. Spread of breakfast was modest, mostly breads with cheese and ham, cornflakes, orange juices, coffee etc. However, the chef was tactful as he noticed there were several diners from Asia (who may not be used to eating bread) and so he did Asian style fried rice to meet the needs of these diners. Though the fried rice was quite bland in taste, but his effort and customer orientation was commended. Service was good, staff was polite and helpful. The surrounding of the hotel compound have greenery and flowers (lavender) and that added the nice feeling of the customers who stay there. Area of improvement. There is only one lift in the hotel and you can expect to wait for quite a while to reach your room if you are not staying on the ground floor. The lift is small too, can most accommodate 3 passengers with luggage. We enjoyed our stay here very much and plan to stay here again if coming here next time. Actually, there is a medium sized supermarket located about 100metres from the hotel. We only notice it when we left in the morning but its closed then.

Upon my arrival the gentlemen in the front desk informed me that I should pay at my departure. OK. Why not? The room was big, but the sleeping quality was poor dur to the trains passing by. Internet connection did not work during the stay and nobody knew how to support me. The first morning the lady in the fron desk sent away my taxi with another customer, this caused me 30 min delay to work. Breakfast was decent. Upon my departure another gentlemen in the front desk was grumpy with me as I did not pay my bill upon arrival... This is not a place that I can recommend.

Hotel Loren in Uster is an excellent choice. Each spacey room has a balcony, flat screen TV withh lots of channels, a table with 2 chairs, lots of wardrobe space, a safe, an ironing board plus iron, a kitchenette, a washing machine, a fridge stocked with drinks and space for more. The beds are comfortable, the shower/toilet clean and functional. Heating can be individually regulated in each room. A small shopping mall is a few steps away, the city easy reachable on foot or by bus which leaves every 15 minutes. The staff is very helpful . The management obviously tries to train all staff in different sections (receptionist as bar keeper and cook as receptionist) with mixed results. If a guest is easy-going and has time on his/her hands, it might not be a problem and even a bit amusing, but the management should be aware that people could find it unprofessional. Teach your staff well if they need to multi-task. All in all I had a good time there and can recommend the hotel to everyone who asks for a fine accomodation in Uster.
