This hotel was a delightful surprise. We arrived via Buquebus ferry from Buenos Aires and were able to walk to the hotel. The staff and customer service were excellent the entire time we were there, and the place was meticulously clean and very modern. We rented bikes from the hotel one of the days to explore the city, and that was a great way to see the city in a short period of time. Would definitely come back to the hotel!
Very nice hotel and friendly staff..So much to see and do within walking distance..Room service breakfast included..Very safe to go walking around in the day time..Just don't after dark..One crazy thing happened while my wife was in the shower, all the water went boiling hot..Even in the toilet..The staff was very concerned and tried to fix it...I'd stay there again for sure..
We arrived with our own car and with the help of our own navigations device. The location is a rather strange one, near the port. Nevertheless, the room is stunning! We got an upgrade from a delux room to a suite. Fantastic room, new, clean, excellent! Staff (receptionists) very helpful and kind. We checked in on April 3rd. We were the couple coming with a black Vitara and a lot of luggages. The stay was so pleasant, that we booked our next stay there.
Arrived in Montevideo via the Buquebus from BA. The hotel is just across the street from the Ferry Port, which is a simple walk. Check in was very pleasant and simple. I believe the clerk at the desk was named Muaro who was a great asset and very helpful with planning a couple adventures. He spoke perfect English which helped. The hotel was very nice. Rooms had everything that you need, fridge, hair dryer, tv, good ac., wifi throughout the hotel. Breakfast buffet, will cook eggs and bacon included. Very relaxed atmosphere and pleasant staff who were very helpful with a few requests. Everything that I asked for, they promptly remedied. There was no room window to the outside in my room. There is a rooftop pool and lounge area. Beautiful sunset to see from the top while drinking a cold one. The hop on hop off bus is just steps away from the front of the hotel, recommended to familiarize yourself with the old city and surrounding Montevideo. There are many restaurants, cafes, store, souvenir shops, all right there. Booked a trip to Punta del Este and the company will pick you up right at the hotel. Lobby was nice and comfortable. On checkout, there was a very nice gal I believe her name was Natalia. Once again perfect English. The staff made me feel right at home. Anyone interested in specifics feel free to contact me. I recommend the hotel for a Montevideo stay.
Unfortunately we missed our ferry from Buenos Aires and weren't able to get to Montevideo for the first night of our stay. Because the room was paid for and "guaranteed" we did not call the hotel to advise. When we arrived at the hotel the next morning at 10, we were advised our room had been let out to someone else for both nights. We were shocked....the man at the desk was nice but firm - we had lost our room. Plus, we were advised we would only get one night reimbursed, which we still haven't and that was 3 months ago.
Top hotel in the port area, nice and modern facilities, extremely helpful staff, and even some cookies and a welcome drink on arrival. Rooms had everything you could want for this type of hotel, while the daily breakfast was more than sufficient . Location wise its opposite the market and some great old town restaurants too. Although the area is a lot quieter in the evenings there is still enough to do!!
Great location, kind staff, beautiful room close to Port! We had whatever we need! Interesting building with many services! Smoke free hotel and free WiFi. Roof garden service 😊😊😊🏖️ 🛏️🚢 ✈️🛫🛬🏨
Very nice hotel at the habour site, they tried hard and rooms are great (can only tell for the suite) , but unfortunately the hotel is located across food habour market hall, where you can get outstanding BBQ/Assado food - but the grill smell will accompaign you in the room, during the day and night 24/7. The hotel team was ok, though what I did not like isthe fact, that they are all extremely slowly for service until you pay a tip (sure we know this is in common for Latin America). But Uruguay can do better regarding services without claiming "propinas" as we saw on our further trip through UY.
Just stayed 5 nights in March. Wonderful little hotel in a great location. My room was small but was oh so clean and had everything I needed. Was very interesting building, no straight halls, even the room had something at an angle and lots of mirrors to make the room look bigger. The staff was so attentive and was such a big help for this non Spanish speaker. The only problem was the initial locating of the hotel. As I rented a car I drove right by the first time and needed help removing myself from the pedestrian zone After that all was well and I highly recommend this little gem.
All perfect! Can only recommend! Good location, great, friendly and helpful service! Great breakfast. Great price for value! Variety of Bars and Restaurants within walking distance. Would go there again!
