Good location downtown, nice arcade and indoor swimming pool, but it stops there. The rooms are old and need to be renovated.

Indoor pool, whirlpool and playground area featured in this hotel was very entertaining. The hotel decor looks like a park literally inside the building, cute theme, but its not the best hotel experience.

The staff were very polite and saw that my needs where met in a very timely manner. Everyone there were quick to smile and made my son who was 10 feel very happy cuz he's he has autism and he had no problem communicating with the staff there. The recreation area was great and we will definitely go back again.

I was very happy with my stay until my kids told me what the security guard told them. It was almost midnight and I decided that I wanted a bottle of water. So I asked my 17 year old son to walk to the lobby with me to get one. While passing through the pool/arcade room there was a group of adults and about 3 younger kids between the ages of 8-14 I'd say playing pool having a great time. Now mind you this is after 11 when it's suppose to be quiet time I guess. Well my son and his friend who were playing pool was asked by the security guard to go back to their room because it was after 11. But when I go to get my water at close to midnight there are kids running around down there playing pool and being loud. I'd like to know why my son and his friend who were playing a game of pool were asked to leave and go to their room, yet other guests are allowed to run around close to midnight and nothing was said. I'm just a little confused by this, as is my son who asked me why they were allowed to be down there playing around but he couldn't. How is it that some guests and their children are given special privileges but my son was told to go to his room? I'm very disappointed by this because I did have an overall great stay, but to me actions like that are very unacceptable.

Hotel is divided into 2 parts--one side with individual air conditioning and one side without. Original rooms were too hot. Front desk staff were friendly and quickly changed our rooms to the other side (there were 3 rooms involved). Hotel is a popular venue and always has a group function of some sort. This time was a homecoming dance in the ballroom and a fraternal order meeting in the pool/play area. As promised, the group broke up by 10:00 but the play area remained open and was not quiet by any means until after 11:00. Made rooms on the first floor very noisy. Also because of group activity, our 5-person group couldn't find any available place to play a board game so we just watched TV. New restaurant wasn't open so have no idea if food was better than at Holiday Inn (previous owner). Breakfast was same as before. We are not planning to stay there again simply because we are older (50-75) and need a quieter place. Price was reasonable and close to places to eat.

We always have a good stay at this hotel. We've been here several times. Each time the kids have fun in the indoor pool and rooms are comfortable. Never had a poor experience.

Disappointed in the room. Asked for non smoking but got a smoking room instead...Given my late arrival I did change. Smell of Chlorine from the pool was overwhelming. The lobby was inviting and the staff nice enough but the hallways and the rooms require updating

It has Been awhile since I stayed here...not the same place at all . Needs some updating.. but price was a little high

We have stayed at this hotel many times. If you want the Ritz Carlton, go to the big city. This is uniontown and a perfect place to stay while visiting family and a great place to entertain the kiddies. Pool table, Ping pong, air hockey, game room, a pool and hot tub....and a bar and restaurant where the kids always eat free. We love staying here and will be back.

The staff was extremely rude. We had booked thru here and the desk clerk cancelled out our entire reservation because we missed one day. We would have been more than willing to pay for that day but the entire reservation was cancelled. Therefore we had no place to stay even though we paid for it in advance. We attempted to get a refund but they were attempting to charge for rooms that they had cancelled. Why should we be responsible for something of thier on doing. Obitz (can't spell it due to typing restrictions) was very helpful in returning our money. I also had to telephone Corporate which also played the final roll in getting our money back. If it was not for Corporate I believe the desk clerk would have not refunded our money.

not my first time there it was great service as always

The room was nice and clean. The pool and jacuzzi were located right outside my room and it was quite noisy in the night up to around 11:00PM. Overall, it was a great location and I would go back but request an outside room away from the pool

The room and pool area was clean and neat, and the office personel where freindly.

Really liked the indoor pool, pool table and ping pong table. Did NOT like the goldilocks experience - someone was sleeping in our beds prior to our getting into the room. Rooms were OK, but not really clean.

We only spent one night at the hotel. Upon entering our room (average size room with 2 double beds) we noticed another door on the other side of the room. This door led to an enclosed courtyard with play equipment for children, air hockey table, ping pong table and swimming pool. There were tables and chairs to sit and read or talk with friends. Not something we expected. We would have liked to have a continental breakfast included since it was rather pricey for this area of PA.

For the price I paid to stay there it was so "NOT" worth the money! The drapes were stained & dirty, it cost u extra for every little thing($1 for a local phone call), they only change the linens every 3 days(I was there for 4 nights & my linens were never changed). Over all this is a pretty sad hotel. Will not spend my money there again. Also no elevator!!!!!

We arrived about 6:00PM and it was a very fast check in. The room was ready and clean. Our Grandson really liked the pool and the game room. We were attending a Model Airplane Contest in Carmichael (15.0 miles away)so this was very convinent to drive each day. The beds and pillows were especially comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Since the contest is an annual event, we plan on returning to this hotel next year.

When we first arrived one of the rooms we rented the ceiling fell down below the air conditioner. The condensate pan must have overflowed. They gave us another room quickley. Also, we were given breakfast coupons

This hotel was great for families. We are travelling without children and our room was facing the indoor pool and play area, so it was a bit too noisy for me. For anyone travelling with children, this hotel is wonderful. The children can play and run around in a safe environment, and the parents can even sit on their balcony to watch them, if they are old enough to be on their own. But for people travelling without children, I think the hotel should state the noise level, and try to accomodate people on the other side of the hotel. We also left out an order for room service breakfast, which was not picked up. When we called Room Service, they apoligised and sent breakfast up within 15 minutes, and charged us half price. That was very nice.

The Holiday Inn Uniontown was a well kept, clean establishment. Very nice room.

Dear Valued Guest, You have made us smile once again! We do have a friendly staff and truly enjoy welcoming each of our guests. I have no doubt your son brought the staff as much happiness as he received from them.

Dear Valued Guest, I'm happy to hear you had a great time during your recent stay. Having all the amenities in our Courtyard for guests to enjoy makes for a fun time for everyone. As you know the Courtyard is surrounded by sleeping rooms. To ensure guests have a chance to relax and get to sleep we enforce quiet hours in the Courtyard from 11pm until morning. Our staff does a regular walk through of our public spaces to make sure guests are made aware of quiet hours. It sounds as if another group began their pool game after this walk through. As soon as our manager on duty became aware of the noise in the Courtyard the guests were asked to end the game and honor our quiet hours. I realize it sometimes seems nothing is being done to modify another guests behavior but I can assure you our staff makes every effort to ensure everyone is aware of our rules and gives consideration to the other guests' experience. It is our goal to provide all our guests a relaxing, fun stay. Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us. It is always appreciated.
