Got a last second reservation while on a trip to the North Cascades. Staff was very accommodating with notifying us of our delayed bag. Also gave us a great recommendation for dinner in town. Newer property in Packwood compared to other accommodations.
Adorable! Clean room with everything we needed. Friendly staff too. I would definitely stay there again!
Nice little hotel
Unique: The power went out. We had booked for 2 nights. The property's response to this was bordering on criminal. They informed us that, since their water was on a well, we would have NO access to fresh water. When we went up to the rooms, the person at the front desk counted us, and provided 1 small water bottle per person. I asked about a refund, but the local people couldn't help. So, imagine the health issues: a packed motel that isn't that great to start with. NO flushing toilets. No potable water other than 1 small bottle/guest. We did notice some people who were staying had started to use the bathroom behind the motel (what else could they do). The motel did NOTHING. No, they did not even bring in porta-potties. We finally packed up and left; hoping we could find a functioning hotel with open rooms down the road. How do I get a refund for that second night? And, shouldn't someone report this property?
I can't pinpoint exactly what we liked so well about this place, but it just felt so comfortable and "homey." The manager of the place was super friendly, giving us tips on where to eat along with a glass of wine when we checked in. The room was vert clean and the bedding was super comfortable. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical by the look of the main picture of the front of the building (looks to me like the actual accommodations once you get inside could be nice or sub-par), but we were very pleased. The breakfast was quite good, too.
Loud after hours. Property poorly maintained. Unprofessional staff, bad breakfast.
A clean, comfortable, pleasant inn with good breakfast choices. Elk were seen from our room window. Picnic tables for enjoying the cool outdoor weather. Very pleasant stay.
The lady at the front desk was very hospitable and runs a great hotel. She's what makes this place.
Everything went well. The room was very clean and spacious
Comfortable beds. Breakfast was hot but the same everyday. Great location for access to Mt rainer.
Great stay at this hotel. Front desk help was very nice and offered us a free glass of wall on check in. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. One suggest, they might want to start breakfast earlier during the summer. I thought 7am was late.
We had a very nice stay there. The staff was great! The room was a bit on the small side, but we had four people in the room, so that's partly the reason.
Very nice room. Good location to the park. Staff was very friendly.
