Real nice hotel.Very private. Not too many people around.Family oriented. The staff is freandly for the most part.Just a walk away from the beach.Beautiful swimming pool and a pretty sizeable hot tub.

We loved the people and the staff and the cleanliness of the room

Friendly hotel staff. Super accommodating, and always going above and beyond. Rooms are comfortable. Hotel is close to beach and restaurants. Really great experience.

Our experience here was overall excellent. My only recommendation is to have some type of amenities for the guesses in the hotel and make it more personal. We did a lot of water activities. Meat beautiful people and made good friends around town. My husband and me deftenly coming back and tell all our friends and family to visit.

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel will def return !!

The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach minus the expensive cost for staying on the Grace Bay strip. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the main strip where there are many restaurants and shops!

This is 2nd time I visit Turks by myself, and 2nd time stayed at this place. Nice and clean and very close to the beach, with in-room washers and dryers that helps a lot for all of the water sports.

Perfect want to book again for the winter! Loved the apartment like feel. Continental breakfast was a plus. Beautiful grounds.

I wanted to spend my birthday in Turks and Caicos but I didn't want an all inclusive resort because I wanted to explore the island. This was the best place to stay on the Island for budget watchers. Great staff, great amenities and great/friendly staff.

Lovely place, easy beach access. Walk to anywhere you need.

We had a wonderful stay at this affordable Grace Bay hotel. Since we were traveling as a family the suite set-up gave us room to spread out. The suite was meticulously clean. The pools were beautiful. And the beach was less than a 2 minute walk away. The beach attendents might have been the best I've ever had at a resort. The staff was very friendly and accommodating in every way. Highly recommended.

Previously reviews are right on the mark. We had a very spacious studio unit on the first floor with a patio that overlooked the pool. Room was very clean and maid service everyday was great. Free breakfast in the AM was more than adequate. In addition, there was a coffee maker with coffee supplied by the resort for early risers (as we are). There was also a microwave and small refrigerator in the room. A stove top would have been nice, but not available in the studio unit. Grace Bay is one of the best beaches we have been to and service on the beach was great with lounges , umbrella, and towels supplied by the resort at no charge. The beach is about a 5 minute easy walk from the resort. We would return to this resort in a heartbeat and is probably the best value on the island. Highly recommended.

Just got back from this lovely place. The rooms are beautiful and oh so clean. The grounds are well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. Friday nights they have a party by the pool which is a lot of fun and a great way to meet other guests. The hotel is not right on the beach, but a short walk leads you to a beautiful setting with beach chairs & towels, beach toys, and even floats. We enjoyed every second of it.

Spent 2 weeks with my husband in a Deluxe Studio at this beautiful boutique hotel. Couples vacationed here, as well as families. Despite being a full during our stay, it never felt crowded. Sometimes we'd be the only ones by the pool. The grounds, pool area, personal use BBQ's (Weber's) are impeccably clean and well kept. The staff was always smiling and very pleasant. Our Studio was spacious and furnishings were modern with a Tommy Bahama feel. Don't let this resort not being beach front deter you from staying here. It is a very pleasant 1 minute walk through Grace Bay Club. This resort includes beach service. Complimentary chair umbrella set up and refreshing cold water, as well as bar and food service. The draw to this beautiful island is the beach. White powder sand and turquoise waters. Grace Bay was invitingly warm and smooth as glass while we were there. Villa Del Mar is centrally located and within walking distance to many restaurants, cafés, as well as a grocery store, GraceWay Gourmet. We were looking for a very relaxing vacation, but you can make it as eventful as you like. There are many boat cruises, snorkelling tours, kite boarding, paddle boats/boards and banana boat rides just to name a few. Whatever you choose to do at Turks and Caicos Vill Del Mar, you will not be disappointed! We will be returning as we have found our paradise just few hours by plane away from home.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Del Mar for five nights in June 2014. We were so pleased with our choice! While I have stayed at hotels with more impressive lobbies and grander pools, I don't think I have stayed in a nicer room. It really felt like home. The furniture was all beautiful and of great quality. Especially impressive was the patio furniture out on our balcony. There was a nice table for four and a lounger--all with 3-4 inch thick cushions. It was so nice to eat meals and take naps on the balcony! The soaking tub was 2 thumbs up. Really the whole bathroom was 2 thumbs up--it was huge and well-kept. The hotel has travertine flooring throughout--from the stairs up to your room through the room itself and then out through the balcony. That's a nice touch. The kitchenette was fully equipped with toaster, microwave, coffee maker, dinnerware, flatware, etc. The housecleaning staff also kept the room IMPECCABLY clean. I have never had less sand in a beach vacation hotel room as at Villa Del Mar. They truly do a great job cleaning. The washer/dryer in the room also came in handy the last night of our stay--we came home with clean laundry! Woo hoo! The hotel itself is across one very small, low-traffic street from Grace Bay Club, which has Alexandra National Park Beach Access. I think the walk from our room door to the beach was 1-2 minutes. I was slightly apprehensive about having to walk through another resort to get to the beach, but this was not awkward at all--it's a national park, so they expect non-guests to use the path, too. The Grace Bay Club staff was very friendly to us, despite our blue striped towels giving away our Villa Del Mar status. I cannot forget to praise the beach. EPIC. The water of TCI is the prettiest thing I have ever seen, and I have had the good fortune to travel a lot. Villa Del Mar has its own area of the beach complete with lounge chairs and umbrellas. They will set up a new umbrella for you wherever you'd like, or you can choose one of the ones already set up. At least when we were there in June, all of the hotels had dozens of empty chairs and umbrellas. It was never crowded at all! Not like bigger, branded resorts where you have to fight for shade or a chair no matter what time of the year.

Very relaxing and the staff were great an all around great vacation. One of the best trips that we have taken, will definitely be back to Villa Del Mar. Easy access to beach and great restaurants.

We loved Villa Del Mar. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The full kitchen was nice to have. We were able to stock our fridge full of drinks, snacks, leftovers. We loved making our own frozen cocktails with the blender. The IGA Supermarket is just a quick drive away. It has most things you would find at an American supermarket. I would recommend renting a car since it gives you more dining options and being able to drive around the island. The front desk provided exceptional friendly service. They were able to book dinner reservations for us and confirm our car reservation and airport transfer. All of the staff were super friendly and made us feel at home. The free continental breakfast was nice and more than adequate. The pools were very nice since they were shallow and perfect for our three year old daughter to swim in. The beautiful beach is just a one to two minute walk away from the hotel. My only suggestion to the hotel would be having an on site restaurant. We absolutely love Villa Del Mar, great value for the price you pay. We can't wait to come back next year.

When we got there the room was not as I thought it would be, but maybe thats my fault. Besides that, it was really modern, clean and comfortable. It said that it had a gym on the resort, but there is not, so that was a bummer. The breakfast is nothing special but it will do. The front desk is nice, friendly and helpful and so is the manager. The beach is not right on the water, but it is right behind a hotel that is. Its about 50 yards away. The villas beach section does not have a lot of included things for guests to use, but you can rent out things. You can also schedule to do day excursions which are reasonably priced and include food and drinks. The hotel has a great location, about a less than 10 min walk to the grocery store, on the way you pass many places to eat and shops, and less then 15 to main down town with more shops and food. Overall a fantastic place. The island is so safe and family friendly, there is not a huge night life. Its no spring break place.

the location was great, the beach was very accessible and the pool was perfect. the rooms were very clean and had everything you could need for a great vacation. the continental breakfast was very nice, nothing special, but a nice way to start the day. the island is absolutely beautiful and i would recommend both turks and caicos and villa del mar to anyone
