Do not go to this resort. The staff, especially the check in crew, are combative and out right rude. They would rather argue and hollar at you than do their job. The bar staff are untrained locals that are interested in doing everything but making drinks. They are put out when they have to work. The resort has potential to be very nice but there is no attention to detail. If you simply look at the entrance to the facility you feel like you are being led into a dump. We visited several other resorts on the island during our trip and wished we had done more research. If you plan on eating, make sure you make reservations somewhere else on the island. The food at Alexandra is basically prefrozen, heavy breaded, sams club. I could go on and on but have to stop typing at some point. Choose another place if you are headed to Provo.

Nice looking Resort. Get a free complimentary drink when you first get there. It's right off the beach so that's awesome. Any excursion we did we got picked up right at our hotel. That was very accommodating. Either by boat off the beach or in the front of the hotel depending on the activity. And that beach is beautiful. water is crystal clear (no exaggerarion). We had a garden view room, but could still see the beach water from out balcony since we were on the third floor. So we had a great view. Room was clean and a decent size for two. Bed wasn't the most comfortable bed, but it wasn't that bad. hated the pillows. Nice big size pool with swim up bar. Pool wasn't the cleanest though. A lot of debris and dead insects, but the resort itself is very clean. Hated the music. Didn't have an island vibe to it at all. played 60s-80s music the whole time. You would expect Calypso, Soca and at the very least some Reggae. None of that. And we requested a change of music several times and they never changed it. There's not much to do at the resort so make sure you book a couple of activities. Also there was no ice machine. Super disappointed in that. Even the cheapest hotels in the States have that. Only ate at the resort once for a quick lunch since prices are well over priced (Most restaurants on the island are over priced anyway so you might as well get out the resort to eat and explore the island).

The Alexandra rooms were great. Location was amazing as were the view and the beach. However, we chose to go all inclusive. All inclusive at this hotel is not the same as others. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are on their schedule. That said quality of food was good to excellent. Drinks were good but were definitely not a premium. And service at times was exceptionally slow which made

Extra small rooms , I asked front desk to leave me extra bag of coffee every day , well that never happen !! I had to ask them every day for coffee, restaurant stuff was not friendly at all , my wife asked for extra strawberries for breakfast, the told her there is no more left then 10 minutes later they serve fruit platter with strawberries to couple next to our table,

The staff is outstanding!!!! I had the best stay at this resort. I will return when I decide to visit Turks and Caicos!!!!

The food was not good. Everything else was fantastic.

Nice hotel on the beach Near everything Nice staff

Not a five star hotel but value and location makes it 4.5 stars - staff were great

Had a wonderful time. Very sunny and warm. Beautiful island. The Alexandra Resort had great facilities including a beautiful beach with chairs and umbrellas already set up each morning, a restaurant to dine either on the bay/beach or enclosed just off the beach, free kayaking/sailing/paddle boarding and a real nice pool. Pool chairs came with a mattress....really comfortable. They also provided towels for your use. Great access to tours as well as the boats dock right there to take you out.

staff friendly, informative. hotel close to beach.

THE PIllows were hard as rocks, woke up with headache and neck ache. The room was nice, very clean. Staff was amazing. Food pricey and needed more variety. Room service would have been a bonus if they offered it. Rare to have someone come around to pool To offer food and drinks. I also understand mango reef restaurant was part of Alexandra at one time, too bad its not there anymore, we went- prices great as well as variety and taste of food and outstanding service.

Overall we enjoyed our visit to Turks and Caicos. We were not happy with hotel service. Pool and beach service were pretty much non existent. Service were too slow and at times house staff were rude.

Stayed for 7 days; very accommodating staff. Helped plan the 2 excursions we went on. Made numerous dinner reservations for us and we readily available when needed.

This was my first trip to Turks. I find it hard to book a hotel online, because anything can look good on the Internet. I was beyond thrilled with the Alexandra. From start to finish we were treated with kindness from every staff member we encountered. Check in was smooth and we had help with our bags. The beach is gorgeous, much better than other resorts. We took advantage of the snorkeling equipment and found it vet convenient that our excursions met at our hotel. The rooms were modern, clean, beautifully decorated and attended to twice daily be housekeeping. We ate breakfast at Asu every day and found it delicious and enjoyed the view. I will stay here again and recommend to all of my friends.

* Lovely helpful & caring staff...exceptional * Beach proximity extremely convenient & clean * Restaurant food needs to improve * Pina coladas need to improve * Cleanliness in room re: scrubbing of grout in bathrooms & around toilets, mopping of floors really needs to improved * Please clean out sink drains (filled w/hair from other guests). * Decor in room basic * Washer dryer wonderful * Patio lovely & spacious * Overall size of unit layout, comfortable * Quiet, restful, enjoyable, lovely grounds * Looking forward to next visit

We would stay again. Minor issues include plumbing issues in our suite and dated, slow elevator. Housekeeping came around 5pm one day. The bathroom in our bedroom did not flush, luckily we had a guest bath as well. In all fairness we did not mention this to hotel staff as we wanted to make the best of our short stay and did not want to complain about a minor issue. Other guest are not friendly but the hotel staff, restaurants and beach staff were amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. looking forward to giving this hotel another shot!

We have been staying at this hotel for a number of years and keep coming back. The beach is great, rooms have awesome terraces and the kids just love it.

We stayed 3 nights at the Alexandra in late July, 2015. We had a wonderful time. We had a Partial Ocean View Studio on the 4th floor of Building 2. The studio included a modern king bedroom, a small patio with 2 chairs and a small table, and a separate kitchenette with plenty of counter space with a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and blender. The hotel staff were friendly. Housekeeping always came around for a second time early in the evening to ask if we needed anything. The beach on this part of Grace Bay was not too crowded (even being near Beaches). For snorkelers like us, the Bight Reef in front of Coral Gardens is within a long walking distance (maybe 3/4 mile). The restaurant, Mango Reef, was excellent - good food, not too expensive and large portions (but I hear that the restaurant will change soon).

Great staff and location. Loved the hotel. Will be back soon!

We to Provo every year and absolutely love it. The Alexandra is the very best value. The pool, staff, beach, and restaurant are all superb!
