Recently stayed here and I found the location very central to the centre of the town and good value as well. We had dinner and breakfast here as well and both were good. Bedrooms were also comfortable and clean as well so would I stay here again yes

The hotel was priced right. The bar is nice, the restaurant is decent. The rooms have no A/C. Parking is... well there is none except on the street. We got lucky and found one right out front. There is not a lot to do in Tullamore except visit the Distillery.

I stayed 1 night wit my two adult kids. We were very impressed with the centrally located hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the food good. I would definitely stay there again.

We spent a night here whilst attiendng a music festival. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and valued. Staff at reception were extremely friendly and helpful and even assisted us to print off tickets for the event later that night (Thanks Roisin!) The executive room was really spacious and very warm and comfortable. THe bed was equally comfortable and the bathroom was equally satisfactory. Breakfast was very very good and our requests for food not available at teh buffet were accommodated immediately. THe food was hot and freshly made which again enhanced our experience. It was a very good experience and we will stay here again.

The Central Hotel is a really nice place. The food was wonderful and the staff very friendly the room was clean and tidy, bathroom small but fine. The only fault that I had was there was no car park and you had to park on roadside. It is very convenient to shops and a nice park beside it, I would stay again

Central hotel tullamore . Excellent for a mini break all you need at your doorstep lovely food friendly staff would recommend the central hotel for anyone looking for a nice break .plenty to see and do in tullamore it is worth a visit .

Check-in was a little slow, but maybe only because of the particular customer in front of us, since they found our reservation right away. Our room was missing enough bath towels, but one call to the desk and they fixed that quickly. We had paid for dinner as well as the room; a limited menu but not bad. Our server was conscientious and friendly. Breakfast was a nice little buffet. It was a short walk from the hotel to shops and pubs.

Used this Hotel as a base for a last minute trip to Tayto Park. Got a great rate for 2+3 in a good sized family room, 1 king, 1 single and 2 decent camp beds. All staff very nice. The negative would be the food. We both had the roast beef special on the first night and it was really poor. Really thin slices and appeared to be of the bought in and reheated variety. One child had the sausages and mash and to be honest the sausages were shocking. The frozen variety you might come across in Spain etc. These were offered again for breakfast and we couldn't face them and this is a first for us! However, the rest of the breakfast was good. Easy fix. Overall, for the price would definitely stay again. We had dinner at Lana street food on second night and this place will definitely be getting the 4 star review, fantastic.

I was down for the weekend for a wedding. I booked a single room B&B. I emailed the night before to say I would arrive by train at 12:30 to go to the wedding at 2pm so please have my room ready. It was ready when I arrived, girl on reception was lovely. Lidl directly across road if you need anything. Nice queen size bed and big room, curtains were dirty and two spiders webs in top corner with a huge spider in the bath too which I had to wrestle. Kettle and tea and coffee with the dreaded UHT milk…but I got a fresh jug to keep after breakfast and the bar also gave me fresh milk! Nice bathroom, plenty towels. Hairdryer in bedroom drawer. Room 212 at front of hotel quite quiet but no air con, there is a heater but this was a very hot night in July and couldnt open window as quite noisy then. Breakfast 7.30am – 10:30am. I went down 8.30am plenty of food but luke warm, very greasy eggs and rashers unfortunately but plenty of fruit and yoghurt and cereals and a nice selection of pastries. Checkout is at 12noon which is good if your getting train as there is a train to Dublin at 12:23 and only a 7min walk to the station . Wifi is not very strong and kept dropping!!! Iron and ironing board in room also. Safe in room by you have to pay €1.50 per day…a bit odd in this day and age. Don’t know if my tv was faulty but it showed up loads of channels and yet could only view RTE1,RTE2, TV3, TG4,3E, Virgin Two, Virgin 3, UTV, ITV3, CBS Drama and a few other odd ones but no BBC or Channel 4 or E4. Make it perfect, add a small fridge and option of a fan or get air con. Would definitely stay again as all the staff are lovely and if you get a room at the back you have a view of the park and river and the front is Lidl..Loads of clothes shops, a shopping centre and cinema all within 5mins walk.

I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting friends and found the room to be large and very reasonably priced, breakfast was buffet style but everything was fresh and warm, the location is great as everything is just a short walk away. Would stay again
