The beds were so comfy, my kid and I stayed two nights. The bathroom needs repairs, but was spotless. Fantastic people, wonderful service. Nice breakfast. Needs coffee available all day and some repairs. Overall, my favorite of 4 hotels this journey. About half a mile down the road, there's a restaurant on every corner for a few miles. Convenient to gas, and there's a grocery store just over two miles down the road.
TThe non smoking room smelled very smokey. But it was about midnight when we checked in and I was too tired to try to get other room

Very close to the highway. Super fast check in. Bathroom and towels need to be replaced. Just okay for a rest from a very long day of driving.
Nice place
There is a large open area next to the location that is a birding paradise. We saw many wildflowers in bloom as well. The hotel is at the eastern end of the through town historic route 66. SO if you are traveling east, check out the town before stopping at the Super 8 which is very handy to the I-40.
