We stayed for one night on a road trip. The room was fine for a night's sleep. It was clean and quiet. The management was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental with just a few choices. There was no juice but plenty of milk and coffee. You cannot beat the price.
Such friendly and helpful management. Clean room. Coffee bar in the morning but breakfast not available. Great bargain and would stay there again. No elevator to second floor so you may need to ask for a first floor room if you have have trouble with stairs.
This place was ok, it felt dirty coming into the office they had just cleaned the carpet and there was a smell. The room was ok nothing special . The breakfast buffet was sort of sad, nothing was fresh. The orange juice was a type of koolaid drink. I wish we had drove on into the town and stayed at one the of the unique places
Location was just off the interstate, Very handy for travelers. The room had no tissues and NO local television. The continental breakfast was pretty slim. Choices were waffles, cereal, toast and rolls. The "juice" was some sort of mixture of flavors - NOT orange juice. Overall, an average buy.
This is a real mom and pop place. The couple make sure you enjoy your stay and offer a really nice visit for those wishing it. The amenities and breakfast are basic at this location but quiet and all worked well. I was offered to take complimentary coffee upon leaving. The couple there are most thoughtful and interested in your well being. I do recommend it.
Very friendly. Great breakfast. Worth the money, which is cheap. Area is very quiet. The owner has cleaned up the place. I will stay there again. I did not expect this at all. It is in the older part of Tucumcari, it has many motels/hotels, but this one is worth the money.
Ray and Rama are the sweetest hosts!! Nicest employees I have ever seen at a hotel. They make sure you feel welcome at given time throughout the day. Definitely have nothing but good things to say about our stay there last night.
I am on oxygen. Woman at desk said we were the first to check in. As I checked in, I asked for a first floor room. I have a heavy oxygen concentrator I use at night and I can't expect my wife to carry it up a flight of steps. She himmed and hawed , shuffled around and finally said "I can give you a first floor room for $20 cash". Then she said that should be the rate anyway. Look the site up and it books for $50. Cost me $70. Nice, take advantage of the handicapped.. How many other people has this happened to. Wouldn't stay there again ! !
This hotel is very very clean. The hosts, Ray and Rama are so sweet. We arrived after 11 pm and Rama was genuinely concerned wheather we had eaten, as everything in town was closed for the night. If you get the chance, plan to stay with Ray and Rama in Tucumcari N.M. you'll be glad you did. I am not easily impressed with hotels ,but I was with America's Best Value Inn, Tucumcari. I travel with a black light, believe me when I say this hotel is clean!!
This location was a welcome surprise - I had sworn-off the "America's Best Value" brand, after two back-to-back horrible experiences in other locations with the worst hotel management ever. Solid reviews of this location combined with very reasonable rates and the fact I was traveling solo tipped the balance: I decided to roll the dice one more time....Good thing, as the lady who greeted me at the check-in counter was polite, efficient, and provided helpful local advise regarding dining options. The room was clean but modest. This is no Hilton, but for the money spent, it is good value. The heater worked well, Direct TV for the typical channels, plenty of hot water for my shower, good WiFi signal/speed, and comfortable bed met all my requirements for an overnight stop. I would recommend this for someone looking to keep their expenses in check without resorting to a slum with a hostile warden. This hotel is on a route I travel from time to time, and I will likely patronize this establishment again in the future.
