Days Inn Suites Tucson AZ

I chose this hotel because it was rated fairly well. Apparently it got stars because it's Party Central in Tucson. I was there on a Thursday through a Monday. There were 4 loud parties at the pool, one screaming beating incident where the police had to be called in, and one alcohol (or drug) induced passing out in the pool, where the EMT;s had to be called in. In addition, we had a suite with one air conditioner for the two rooms. The one room was always freezing, and the other always stiflingly hot.. There was never any cold water, only lukewarm, the tub and sink were old and chipped, and the breakfast was pretty bad - couldn't we at least have bagels?

Comfortable gated and quiet. The front desk clerk was rude and hurried

old hotel with maintenance issues. Security door to outside doesn't latch, rooms very noisy, multiple lights not working within my room. Continential breakfast was just a sugar and carb selection only. Pool was empty and not usuable

Good value. Rooms a little dirty n needs some fixing up.

Room had filthy carpet the two chairs at the little table in the front room were wobbling to the point of falling over . Management was inept at best and claimed that my room was on the list for repairs .who knows why they still rent it out WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!

place bto stay while working in town.

No phone in the room, Maid came late on the 3rd night to clean 5:15 pm. Breakfast starts at 7 too late IMO.

Well the good thing was that theres a Circle K right next door with a Redbox outside. Was able to rent some movies and got myself some Pizza because Dominos Pizza is also right next to it. As for the room. The bed is pretty hard, definitely take your own towels, the ones they have there are really used and old and nasty. Don't flush the toilet paper down the toilet because then it will clog up. lol. In other words dont expect to arrive in a 4 star hotel, but i must admit the price was not bad at all.

Front desk VERY pleasant and helpful, maids friendly, but poorly supervised, don't speak English at all, missed details like lights not working, towels missing, missing remote, etc. Couldn't connect to wi-fi after first night. Front desk graciously upgraded me to another room, very nice, but missing towels. Over all I really like this motel, just needs serious attention to details! Entrance to motel rather hard to see.

I needed work done on my home and had to find somewhere to stay quick...The location was close to home & work...

This is the first time I have ever commented on any website regarding a hotel room, but this one was warranted:The price was right, but upon getting out of the car we noticed [*], along with other shady people in view. We arrived late at night and knocked for 10 minutes on the office door with no response. Upon calling the office, the person on duty apologized and said he'll open the office in a moment as he just got back from responding to a domestic violence call in one of the rooms. The room we got was actually divided into two bedrooms with a door, one with the TV and the other with the a/c unit and bathroom. As a result one room was very warm. The carpet may have been vacuumed but it had lots of dark stains. It was old inside but other than that it was clean, especially the bathroom. The ceiling fan wobbled and made noise. The bed was OK overall I guess. The saying "you get what you pay for" barely applied in this case and I am still pondering that concept.

Good location to Davis-Monthan AFB and near dining and entertainment along Broadway road.

great place

I had no wash clothes in my bathroom and the window was cracked from top to bottom. Other than that it was clean but I had restless nights due to noisey/rude visitors in the next room and it rained so the window started to crackle a lot due to have the heater on which is right under the window.

After checking in and getting settled, we decided to take off for the day. As we were leaving we discovered the door wouldnt lock. We reported it and were told it would be taken care of. When we returned later we found the problem wasn't fixed so we checked out early. We should have gotten a clue from the key card. There wasnt a Days Inn logo at all the card was a gift card type thing from Subway or Dominos

check-in was quick & efficient; room (actually 2 rooms) was quite spacious, very clean & quiet; I was very pleasantly surprised for the low rate I paid.

Great.

i would have preferred , a bigger breakfast of choice it was nice , how ever i am a diabetic , and can not have pastries . i did enjoy the coffee very much so . they were very friendly and cordual . the maid did a good job , and i liked having two seperate bedrooms , i snore , and can't sleep with my husband . this was a unexpected surprize we both slept sound thank you if you could put in more coffee packets , and sugar packets it would be great . all in all we had a good time visiting our friends before winter hits in here.

The room was for a disable person. It was good in some respect but for a disable person traveling alone it had a few poor features. No grab bars in shower and shower head too high, if unable to stand no shower whould have been possible. The maids only left one washrag 2 days and had to get extra from desk.

Came to recharge. Very quiet and peaceful. The location is very close to the Air Force Base. My son was stationed at Davis Monthan. He has been shipped out. I enjoy seeing the planes practice. Just the sound sets my heart at ease. It's a mom thing.
