This is a simple motel with nice clean rooms, nothing fancy but fine for travel thru town and the best offer was the included breakfast. Bed was super comfy, good sheets and enough pillows. Parking is right outside room and lot was well lit. Restaurant (attached) had great options for breakfast. Can't beat this for affordable option. We have stayed previously at Choice and Microtel nearby but will choose this one again next year.

The breakfast options at the restaurant on site were delicious. The room itself was outdated (as expected) but the room did not seem clean - the bathroom counter was dirty, the carpets stained, and there was alcohol left in the fridge by a previous guest. While at breakfast, housecleaning must have come by and the door was left wide open although we obviously had not checked out yet and all our items were still in the room. I would not stay here again.

This is a very friendly old-time Mom and Pop Motel and the rating is based on what it is, not as if it were a high-end property. The exterior needs extensive renovation but that is exceedingly expensive so I'm sure it will not happen at least in the short-term. But having read other reviews on TripAdvisor we decided that we would try it out. The rooms are very large, albeit outdated furnishings. That was quite comfortable and if you aren't doing a thread count the linens are fine. There is a new shower and tub enclosure, but could use a new sink. The attached restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a cheery atmosphere. Our included breakfast was excellent, not like the usual chain hotel variety, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is definitely worth the price you pay 4 an experience of the bygone days.

Older hotel, but very clean, with a nice restaurant attached... free breakfast as part of the room, and its actually a real breakfast, not a couple of stale donuts and bad coffee... Managements was very friendly and helpful.

When I booked this place I knew it was not a 5 star hotel so I was not expecting one. The guy that checked us in was super nice and I have no complaints with that. The room itself was ok. A little worn but so is much of Raton. It could use a face lift. Fresh new caulk would make a huge difference. My husband and I both did not sleep well. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. We ended up getting up earlier than anticipated because of the lack of sleep so the restaurant was not open yet for breakfast so I can't rate that at all. I was looking forward to it because it had good reviews

This hotel is old and run down with peeling gutters and musty rooms. There were two old men sitting outside on one side of my room, and a woman with a baby on the other side. Her door was open with stuff strewn everywhere in her room, making me wonder if she lived there?!?! I felt uncomfortable just walking in and out of my room. The room furnishings were equally old. I'm not sure if the sheets were actually unclean, or just dingy. I found the whole experience so unpleasant that I left, driving another hour and a half to a nice hotel.

We reserved the day before and arrived in early evening. The room was good size and clean. Parking and loading was convenient with parking directly in front of the room. The AC and fridge worked good. There was plenty of cabinet space in the sink area. The carpet looked a little older but we had no problems with it. The tub drain was slow but not a big deal. We would definitely stay here again.

Late night hotel staff friendly. Room is very large, but not super visually appealing. Not terrible. Parking very close. Free breakfast is actually a choice between $5 options (maybe 6). Good options, but limits choice. Not a typical continental. A king room only gets 2 meals even if multiple people share room. We had two adults and two young kids. So we paid for breakfast for the babies. Wait staff appeared overwhelmed, but restaurant atmosphere was fun. It was different then a typical hotel so that was unique and fun. Price very low.

We picked this Inn because of it's location and ratings it was not a disappointment. Receptionist was extremely friendly & helpful. Our room was adequate and clean. There was a hotel room "odor", what you would expect from an older roadside inn. The Restaurant was very nice, good service and food. We would stay here again.

I was quite relieved to find this relatively cheap place to be quite good (nothing in Raton is very cheap.) Room is standard older motel type, plenty of room for one or two but not huge. Very clean. All standard amenities included (microwave, fridge, coffee-maker, iron). Free wi-fi was quite good, shower nice (and tall!) . Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast choices at the adjoining restaurant are included (see picture). Would definitely stay again if passing through.
