Its the biggest hotel in the town of Kalambaka, seems like an old property but it has been maintained well. Its clean and spacious. Its also in the beginning of the main street so much quieter at the same time. The views of the monastery is nice from some of the rooms. I found the breakfast a little disappointing but considering the small town the place is good to stay for a night or two.
Nice clean, comfortable room with helpful staff. The bedroom space was more than adequate, though the bathroom was typically tight. Buffet dinner was excellent and there was great service at the restaurant.Breakfast was not quite up to the dinner, but still satisfying. Having Meteora in the view from our room was a plus.
We stayed here as part of the group tour in May 2017. After visiting Meteora (UNESCO-listed monastery complex), we checked in to this hotel late afternoon. The hotel was well maintained. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, but it's not too tight. It's well arranged. We also had a dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The buffet dinner was great, with a lot of selection, but the breakfast was a bit standard. You could also stroll around the area, as there are a lot of cafes, souvenir shops etc. It was a good walk after having a great dinner. Overall it was a good stay and surely we'll be back to this hotel in the future.
Nice location with amazing view of Meteora mountains on one side. Clean rooms, serving good breakfast. Cons: internal pool and sauna area were not functioning during our stay, although it was claimed to be available. A bit overpriced.
Stayed one night as part of a tour, room was of good quality and reasonable views of the mountains / monastery. Staff were helpful, food in restaurant for dinner and breakfast was of good quality and variety (buffet style).
We stayed at this hotel for one night in April when we came to the Meteora region to visit the monasteries. It is a nice hotel, large, modern, with a decent breakfast buffet. Hotel very clean. Had a great view of cliffs and monasteries.
Meteora is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Greece and it is very pleasant to arrive at this lovely upscale hotel after a busy day of sightseeing. It does get a little hectic a the time of arrival of the groups but after a few minutes its the same quite place as before. The hotel is very convenience located at the entrance of the town, close enough to restaurants and shops but still separated from the huzzle and buzzle and you can relax on the romantic veranda and listen to the birds. Our room had a nice view towards the famous rocks and was impeccable with all amendments necessary. The staff was most attentive and friendly and made our stay very pleasant. it is advisable to have breakfast after 8:30 when the groups have left.
By driving through the city, I would guess it is the best hotel option in the area. Otherwise I would not recommend as a four star hotel. The dinner and breakfast buffet were not very good and didn't offer what you would expect such as fresh fruit. The biggest plus is the proximity to the Meteora monasteries.
Divani is the only hotel we stayed until now in Meteora but we saw on our way also other good looking hotels from outside, don t know the inside. But in Divani we have been impressed by the very good service, the big nice lobby and the cleaning of the whole establishment. We stayed in meteora view room, it is worth the extra paying. In Greece where we stayed before, the hotels have been overrated for the stars they had but in my oppinion this is the first which could have 5 stars instead of 4 but a common 5 not an outstanding one. The rooms are not very big but also not too small to have comfort. The bed is very comfortable. A nice outdoor pool, enough to relax and an indoor pool but which we didn t have the time to go to. The only minus is it seems to be a little bit more far from the monasteries than other hotels but close to Kalambaka city center where the cafes and tavernas are.
Great view of meteora from the hotel. This hotel located in the small town, thus there are many souvenirs shop, if that is what you want. The service is great as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
