Hotel is Old and in desperate need of updating, shower didn't drain, no coffee maker in room sliding door to outside didn't lock so they have a bar holding it closed and I was in a "executive suite"... on top of that there were little kids under 5 running around the halls knocking on doors with parents no we're to be found and then in the morning I found that someone had thrown about 15 empty beer cans in the back of my brand new truck!!! I definitely will not stay here again.

Very accommodating, friendly, easy access. Comfortable. Breakfast was great too.

It was the most horrible experience I've ever had and would never recommend Orbit or Red Lion to anyone.

We had to ask for in-room coffee, as it apparently only provided on request. The heater in our room was very noisy, rattled and vibrated when it ran. Someone had set the alarm clock for 1 AM. Not the hotel's fault, probably, but still an unpleasant experience. The hotel did provided a very good complimentary breakfast, which we did not expect. The bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to friends because of the price, but I would tell them to double check the alarm clock before retiring.

Comfortable room, non smoking room however the initial room had a cupful of cigarette butts left on the patio. We were allowed to move to a room where we could enjoy a clean patio. Music from a scheduled party in the courtyard disturbed our peace and quiet one night. We initially thought the noise was coming from the TV in an adjoining room. We called down to the front desk at 10:40pm and we were told the music was going to end at 1:30am. They told us that they would put us in a different room. I told them I thought moving at this hour was unacceptable to us as a guest. Eventually we were tired enough to fall asleep. The pool was pleasant.

Great rooms, great pool and good location. customer service wasn't the best. People were definitely smoking in there rooms though. Wasn't happy about that but that's not the hotels fault.

Room assigned to me had a smell as if someone smoked cigarettes, but, I was told the whole facility is non-smoking! Go figure!! Also, hot water ran out in the midst of my shower in the morning. Not very happy......

We enjoy staying at this hotel as it is smack dab in the middle of "walk to" shopping and eating, as well as centrally located to our in town relatives.

The remaining staff were great and our room was clean. I would recommend the hotel, but think I would try another property if I needed a return visit.

There was construction going on while we were there. The breakfast ended a little early we thought. Went there for an overnight getaway and to see a concert, it worked for the short stay we had. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

My daughter recently moved to L.A. for a job, and I was driving her vehicle down her new apt. Redding is almost exactly half way to L.A. from Seattle, so I booked a room at this Red Lion. It was an older hotel without a lot of amenities or features, but worked for me on this particular trip. Location was perfect: right next to the freeway, tons of restaurants and gas stations. I would stay there again.

check in was fast but noticed that when they get busy the staff seems overwhelmed and the service suffers a bit. The hotel much like all of red lion hotels are dated and the carpets are very dirty. Thing could be updated and cleaned up a bit. Our stay was comfortable and I would stay again.

I love this red lion. I come to the city quit a bit and this is my go to hotel to stay. It's cozy, the beds are amazing! Showers are amazing in the room water it HOT and the shower head is huge! The staff is so sweet and the breakfast is great!

was a very nice motel and we were well taken care of

I stayed here for business and was told there was a business center, but when arriving I found out it consisted of a computer and printer ( which did not have ink) which was situated in corner of lobby. My room smelled of cigarettes and I am not a smoker so that was a big minus. The carpets are worn and the hotel is worn down. The staff was really nice and location cannot be beat for a central location. Beds are comfortable and room was clean minus the smells.

Hotel staff were friendly. The rooms exceeded our expectations after reading the reviews. The location was exactly what were looking for. The hall carpets and roof need repairs and there is no continental breakfast.

We were on our way to Pullman, and stopped here for the night. I have a high opinion of Red Lion hotels anyway, and I was not disappointed. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was just soft enough to give me a great sleep. The interior courtyard and waterfall was a nice sight to wake up to since we had arrived at night. Only negative comment was the stairwell carpets were a little run-down and needing replacing, and there a spot of some sort of food debris on the curtains that would easily come out with a wet rag.

The location of the hotel was convenient, and easily accessible. The check in was friendly and quick, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet. Plenty of restaurants and a mall within walking distance. I would stay here again.

The hotel is clean and comfortable has no ameneties that you don't have to pay extra for. If it was not for the online discount price, would not have been with the price.

Dear Don, Our beds are very comfortable and we proudly hear it often. The coffee makers have been removed from all the rooms and we are bringing in a local coffee company to do deliveries to the hotel on individual orders. Thanks for recommending us to friends we value your feedback.

great outdoor swimming pool

Great rooms, great pool and good location. customer service wasn't the best. People were definitely smoking in there rooms though. Wasn't happy about that but that's not the hotels fault.

We were both disappointed in the breakfast, especially since we paid for it. I thought that might make it better. It was no different than the free ones at so many places.
