West Bay Beach was a very nice hotel! Our room was nice and very clean. The bed was super comfy which is hard to find at hotels. The patio and the inside seating area were super nice. My only complaint was that the hotel was a dog friendly one and didn't realize until we got there. I like dogs but when they were constantly barking, it was not enjoyable. Also, there weren't any vending machines that we could find which isn't a huge deal but we like to get a pop at night. It was a great location, super close to downtown and great view of the bay! Definitely would recommend a stay here!

Very nice hotel! We were there when the key card machine was down and we had to be escorted to our room each time. My husband and friend returned to the room very late at night and had no trouble getting in. Beautiful area by the water to feed to feed ducks. I will be back.

Did a good job with social distancing. Everything looked clean... they no longer clean the rooms during your stay. But, you can get all the towels you need. Traverse City is doing a good job with hand wash stations.

I didn’t know what to expect with the mixed reviews I read but I’m so glad we chose this hotel! The renovations inside the lobby were complete and looked beautiful! After check in we were treated with wine and local traverse goodies. Our room was very clean and the view of the water was nice! The outdoor pool was clean and someone was constantly out there tidying up.

The pictures of this resort in its current state are very deceiving. The entire place is under construction and there is NO BEACH. The beach is public and next to the parking lot. Also, we had a view of scaffolding outside our window. I have 3 small children under 7 and didn’t want to move rooms, on Sunday I woke up to construction workers IN MY WINDOW at 8:30am with NO WARNING from the hotel. After calling they only took off 100$ from our $1000 stay. Not sufficient for being seen practically naked by their construction workers.

The customer service sucked i didnt get my room before 3 pm liked i was supposed too then they gave me a different room with a horrible view just not a great experience at all wish i could have gotten my money back i only stayed 1 night thats how bad it was

After constructions ended Tuesday night it was great Wednesday.room good.

Good location. Hotel was undergoing some renovation. However, clean rooms and comfortable bed.

They didnt have our room ready on time. They were under construction and we didn’t know. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned. It was not worth the money we paid.

We thought the room were clean and comfortable, The staff was very efficient and friendly. However, there was no social distancing happening which made us comfortable. small elevators packed full of people and we also noticed that they were not wiping down any of the tables or chairs outside by the bar or at the pool as multiple rounds of people came in and out. We ended up checking out early because we didn’t want risk it.

Good location, clean room and friendly staff . Closed to Clinch Beach park can walk along to lake from hotel to the park .

Nice place. Even during covid. Mask were needed but they are in most places

They were doing a lot of construction, unannounced to me. The outside patio was shut down some of the time, they were doing loud construction while i was sleeping at like 8-9 AM. Amenities were shut down due to covid-19, so that was not their fault.

Very loud ! Could not sleep at night .. people screaming dogs barking

Great views of the lake, staff very friendly. Construction of the hotel and alot of amenities closed due to covid-19. Would definitely stay again!!!

Thank-you for your review. It appears that you had some issues during your stay. We appreciate your patience and feedback in this time of transition for our hotel. We do apologize that the workers started so early, we have since changed their starting time and hope to have the scaffolding removed from the building in the coming weeks.
