I had a room on first floor, facing the lake with obstructed "lake view" (which is a bummer, my reservation showed - lake view), instead of balcony it has terrace. No air conditioner in the room. When I arrived, the room was so hot. I asked front desk to move me to 2nd floor, so I could open the window and feel safe (saw a lot of signage "Be aware of pick pocketing" around town), which was declined because "no more room", but when I checked the website site, it still showed bookable for same check-in and check-out. Luckily, it was raining that night, I opened the window and took a chance, so it was cooler in the room.
Fantastic location! Breakfast outstanding!! Comfortable beds ! Highly recommend the electric boat ride on the lake. WiFi was just ok

The town is definitely worth a day visit from Salzburg. The price value and perceived value of the hotel don’t match. The room is basic, no charm at all. The mattresses and pillows are not comfortable. Their was some black mold in the grout of the shower. At check out we were not even asked if we “enjoyed our stay.” It felt like a transaction vs a stay in this amazing town. The waitstaff in the restaurant were nice.

This is our second visit here in two months. We love this hotel and the ferry stops right in front of it. Its a 3 min walk to the famous IG photo spot and its right in front of an awesome kebab place that serves warm wine during the colder weather. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was good. We got the lake view which was worth it! Do not hesitate staying here!

A fantastic location with views out over the lake. You could be placed in any one of 3 different buildings depending upon occupancy and the time of the year. The hotel has an amazing restaurant that served a great meal at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and the service is polite. I would highly recommend staying at this location, the rooms are freshly updated with comfortable beds and very clean.
