Excellent italian dishes at the restaurant, different meals also clean rooms and helpfull staff. Every evening dinner was made from 3 different italian dishes, it was like journey to italian cousine. Dinner atmosphere truly amazing. Candles, italian music, and dont forget the wine. At the room we had broken bathroom handle, but after informing reception, it was immediately fixed. Despite that everything staying at hotel was amazing. Highly recomend this hotel for restful vacation.
This is a lovely hotel on the sea front and just a short walk into town. Our room was air-conditioned and overlooked an inner courtyard with a private terrace. Very clean, quiet and peaceful. There was also a swimming pool and a 'wellness' centre. The staff and manager could not have been more welcoming and helpful, even to the point of providing a pleasant pre-dinner buffet in the bar. The evening meals were very tasty and plentiful, with good choices. We were part of a group of 30 people and we stayed for 3 nights. I think that several members of the group wished we could have stayed for longer. We can thoroughly recommend it.
Stayed with a Saga group in June. The room was very clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked well as did all the plumbing! We had an excellent balcony overlooking the courtyard. As part of a group we ordered our evening meal in advance, food was good, local produce nicely presented and plenty of variety. Some evenings the dining room was very busy with other groups staying but despite this we enjoyed the food and wine. The bar service was very good and pre dinner drinks came with very tasty antipasti freebies. The hotel is easy walking distance to Mazara.
I stayed for 3 nights I was in a group of 40 people. My room was clean & the balcony overlooked an inner courtyard The staff were friendly & the food good. Breakfast plentiful. Juice in jugs, coffee in flasks, not great but ok, hot milk available from urn. Nice dining room. Outside seating if you wish to have drinks before dinner. Hotel near the beach & a great little cafe nearby if you want lunch or snacks during the day. The town is an easy stroll away. Couple of beggars but other than that safe & attractive but I think 3 days was enough in this resort Some people had trouble getting towels if they wanted to use the swimming pool, hotel operates a system unusual, you pay €10 euro & DONT get this back when you return the towel - very odd. Apart from that, all was fine
We stayed 3 nights..very comfortable and quiet...the balcony was perfect, overlooking the inner courtyard..not sure if they have sea view balconies..the bathroom was fine with a good shower. It was very convenient for this most interesting of towns..for the port and the Arab part..not all the beach is good for swimming..but there are some places. The A/C was good and welcome
This is a fairly large modern hotel across from the water within walking distance to the old area of Mazara del Vallo. It was renovated from an old winery, similar to one you see next door that is still in a state of disrepair. The car park is reached by an alley at the side of the building. The hotel has meeting rooms and is set up to serve groups, business meetings, weddings and such. It is about a 3-4 star quality hotel, but clean and comfortable. It was a good choice of location for us since we were traveling from Palermo around the west coast of Sicily to Agrigento. The most pleasant aspect of the hotel was the wonderful concierge, Pietro, who got us a guide and driver and was exceptionally accommodating in welcoming us, suggesting restaurants and giving us tour information. He was most friendly and knowledgeable. We were in room 240 that has a view of the sea and front court yard. The room was simple and light, also quiet. There was a king bed, a TV with lots of channels, a safe and good size closet and black out curtains. The bathroom had a tub/shower combination, bidet and one sink. They give you only basic toiletries and again I noticed in Europe that you have to provide your own hair conditioner if your hair tends to tangle with only shampoo. They don’t provide robes or slippers and they give you only one set of hand and bath towels per person, but we asked for more and they provided them. The only problem I had was that the AC was so cold and I couldn’t get it to turn off. I froze at night. Breakfast was served inside or out. The buffet offered lots of choices. We also had dinner at the hotel and it was very good. We had breaded chicken and tomato soup and a small salad. The atmosphere and service was pleasant. The beach across from the hotel is not as clean as further down, so they caution you not to swim there. There are some nice beaches nearby.
We stayed 7 nights here, using Mazara Della vallo as a base for our SW Sicily touring. The hotel is around 0.5 mile from the old town area, along the lovely promenade. The town has lots to see, restaurants, etc. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower always hot. There is coffee/tea, to with BBC world and a fridge in the room. The air on works but ca m be difficult to control. Good car parking and facilities (inc pool). As independent travellers we were concerned about the place being swamped by groups, but they always seemed to be out before 0800 and not seen at the pool or in the evenings. A good base for our holiday.
We had a comfortable double room No 110 with a balcony overlooking a garden courtyard with water features. Decorative mosaic tiles in the bathroom with a tiled seat within the shower for sitting to dry feet etc. Hotel on the seafront and within walking distance to the centre of the town and shops, Beds were a little hard for a comfortable nights sleep and there were no double coat hangers for hanging up trousers. On the plus side free wi-fi and safe were provided. Dinner menu limited but the dishes served were typical scillian fare and the portions were adequate although most cooked food was served quite cold. Breakfast selection very limited in comparison with European 4 star hotels elsewhere, watered juices and limited cooked choices. Hotel really needs to up its game to compete with other island destinations
Wonderfull location in town, in front of the Mediterranean sea, and just to 5 minutes from the historic center. Medium elegant, great food, super clean. You can relax also your body in the beautifull and confortable SPA inside .
Stayed here as part of a group. Room fine apart from hard beds once heating sussed. I suffer from dietary restrictions these days and the dining staff were very helpful. Food acceptable, but not memorable, apart from bulk coffee supplies which weren't - though individual orders in the bar were just fine. Barman was great. Right on the sea-front, though rooms faced inward onto a courtyard.
