The accommodations were modest but clean and roomy. Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful with directions and other information as needed. It was a short walking distance to the metro which provided transportation into Toulouse. I would stay there again.
We are family of four with two children and spent four days in Residhome Toulouse Occitania Hotel during early April. When you come out of Toulouse Airport go outside to find the Tissio ticket office to buy group ticket for Euro 5.50. This will buy 12, one hour journey time. For four of us, we used 4 out of 12 journey times to reach the hotel using Tram 2. Zenith is the stop to get off and then walk across the tram line to reach the hotel which is less than 100m away. Carrefour supermarket is found closer to tram stop Arenes. Once got off from the tram, walk across the tram line and take the stairs to down then continue through the tunnel which goes under the SNCF railway station. Then at the end of the tunnel, take right and continue walking. Then at the end of the path turn left and walk through the carpark to reach the shops. Few meters along the line of shops, you will find the supermarket. You could buy chilled, frozen or any food because the rooms in Residhome Toulouse Occitania have Microwave, hob, dish washer, fridge and all the cutlery and crockery. We enjoyed the stay in this hotel because it had two rooms and kitchenette. The only bad thing was the noise from the street when we left open the two windows because the rooms were very warm even in early April. We took the SNCF train to visit Lourdes for a day and spent around 7 hours there. Train journey time is around 1 hour and 45 minutes. Also visited Toulouse city centre, taking either the tram to Palais de justice or first tram to Arenes and then the Metro to Capitol. Metro is very crowded and you need to watch out your wallet as I came across a dodgy woman and a girl. We visited Airbus and Space Museum as well. You need a whole day to visit the space museum and it costs around euro 80 and the Airbus tour costs Euro 85 for two 1.5 hours tours, one to the outside of the factory and the other to see the 380 assembly line. Overall, the hotel was nice for the price and staff were friendly, Toulouse is a good place to visit for few days. I have seen the small free to use electric buses but never used as they looked like the buses for older people. Those buses were parked on the other side of Pont Neuf bridge(opposite to the town side). Tried to visit EDF museum but it was closed on Mondays. Jardin des Plantes was beautiful. The city is small so everything can be reached within few minutes by train, tram or you could easily walk.
We stayed in these apartments for two nights on our way down to Spain. Parking adequate and a bonus as it's free. They are well equipped, convenient to the city by train, with a small 10 min walk, and we enjoyed staying at the hotel. I would certainly use this chain again but definitely not bother revisiting Toulouse. We didn't get a chance to visit the Airbus assembly plant as there wasn't enough time to fit this in.
Our second stay here in a year and not disappointed. Easy to find, free parking. Tram stop just across the road so easy to get into the city centre and a mere stroll to the Zenith concert venue. Including taxe de sejour we paid under 65€ per night for an apartment with bedroom, living room, bathroom, separate wc. Well-equipped kitchenette incl a mini cleaning set to wash up/clean with. Shower gel, hairdryer etc provided. Can't fault the place, it does what it says well.
We got this for €65 per night and the broad out front said €165, so straight away I thought I had a bargain. Great position to catch the tram to the airport only about€1.60 and 20 mins. Have to walk for something to eat.
What a pleasure finding such a good apart hotel. I would use them again. Well equipped and clean, the swimming pool was a bonus and it was not too far to walk to the metro to visit the centre of Toulouse. Parking is on site and safe. We had a great view from our window of the hippodrome. Our room was on the flight path but being a fan this wasn't a problem.
We stayed for a week in August and chose the hotel largely for its proximity to the Zenith metro stop, on the line to Toulouse airport, and for the size of the room. Our early arrival, just after noon, was not a problem for the front desk staff and we were able to get to our room early. Incidentally, all of the hotel reception staff speak excellent English, if your French is not up to scratch. We had a good sized suite with a small kitchen, very big bathroom, reasonable sitting area and large bedroom. The windows could be opened fully but when closed they sealed out all noise from outside (including aircraft noise). The air conditioning was virtually silent and worked well with the Toulouse summer warmth. The hotel also has a reasonable size pool with loungers; proximity to the approach to Toulouse airport makes this a good place to sit and watch a variety of planes land, including a lot from Airbus. Access to Toulouse is easy by either tram or Metro. The hotel is no more than a 10 minute walk to the Arenes metro stop, which is also next to a suburban train line with service to Auch. One major downside to the location of this hotel is the lack of restaurants in the surrounding area. There's a small Casino shop close by, and larger supermarkets a longer walk away. However, if you want to eat out then options are limited. Some restaurants only open on certain evenings, most are a good 15 minute walk from the hotel and consist largely of pizzerias. So, if you plan to eat close to the hotel then this is something to bear in mind. We found that we did most of our eating in central Toulouse or at one of the restaurants a couple of metro stops in towards central Toulouse. Would we stay here again? Probably. The hotel was clean, comfortable and very easy to find by tram from the airport. However, we would make sure to eat our evening meal elsewhere before returning to the hotel.
Stayed here for 1 night during the Euro's. Situated a few hundred metres from a tram stop which can take you into the centre of town or out to the airport. Staff were a little pedantic in not allowing access to room until exactly 3pm and the check in process. I'm sure the room would have been ready half hour earlier. Apartment was sizeable with bedroom and tv. Also had tv in main room and kitchen. Clean, suitably cheap for a family I would say. Large superstore a couple of hundred metres down the road. Breakfast is continental and adequate. Secure car park. All in all, pretty good.
I stayed here for a week in a one bedroomed apartment. We had a separate lounge/kitchen which was fully equipped with fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Separate we and bathroom with shower. The accommodation is very clean, modern and adequately furnished. The room was overlooking the pool (which is the quieter side of the hotel). There was also free parking. The hotel is ideally placed in Zenith with a tram stop almost outside the door., taking you to the centre of Touluse in about 15 mins. The tram was exceptionally easy to navigate with a connection direct to Touluse airport. The pool area was very clean and tidy. I would recommend bringing your own towels as only two very small towels were provided. All in all I could not fault my stay
Big 2 rooms 2 televisions many places to charge electronics. comfortable quiet with a helpful staff who spoke English. A bit challenging to get to from the airport after jet lag. Pool and breakfast extra perks although one must pay for breakfast.
