Hotel Kyriad Toulouse Centre

This hotel has a good position close to the city centre, but not in the noisy hub. A short walk to all the sights. Rooms are adequate and quiet big for a city centre hotel. Sockets have an extra pin in to prevent use of adapters so don't turn up with flat batteries on cameras or phones. Bathroom was good and a nice shower. The one thing that lets the hotel down is the staff, not very friendly or welcoming and god forbid you have trouble getting out of the car park, they will become downright rude and obnoxious.

I've given this hotel 3 stars on the basis of the low price we paid as the facilities themselves are probably only worth 2 stars. We were just passing through Toulouse, arriving late evening and out again on a morning train, and needed somewhere cheap to stay in close proximity to the railway station. This hotel gave us that but it's not a place you would want to spend time in if you were in town for longer. The bedroom is OK, reasonably clean and tidy and comfortable beds but the bathrooms are in real need of an overhaul. The bathroom in the first room we were allocated was awful, lots of mould and accumulated grime in all of the corners, and we went back to reception to ask to be moved. The alternative room was better but still tired. The continental breakfast is over-priced at 10 euros but, to be fair, everything on offer was very good. Equally, we couldn't see that there were any other options in the vicinity. The hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk straight up the road.

We went for cheap and cheerful close to city centre and stayed here. It was OK, but the bathroom was smelly, fitments were rusty and the overall appearance was very tired. Free WiFi was good, bed comfy enough and the staff were nice. (Due to a family emergency we had to leave after the first night to get home, so because we were on the no cancellation tarif, they did let us off all the parking for the three nights.

Kyriad hotel is nice budget hotel. Located 15 minustes by walk or 5 minutes by bus form Matabiau Station or SCNF metro station. The room is nice, clean room, big bathroom with towel, soap, shampoo, there is coffee making facilities and complimentary water, staff very helpful, free wiffi, there is metro station near hotel, 10 mins walk.

The Kyriad Centre hotel is a good value for money budget hotel. From the outside it is very nice and inside the reception area and reception staff it is very pleasant. The rooms are very pleasant, with all the expected facilities and comfortable although a little dated. The downsides unfortunately include the location, which is not very inviting and not as central as indicated by its title. The hotel does not have a bar or a restaurant which is surprising as it is appears to be aimed at the business community. Not helpful was the fact that the vending machine in reception was empty. The area has very few bars and restaurants although the Irish bar across the canal is very good for food and very attentive and pleasant staff. Our concern within the hotel is that there did not appear to have smoke detectors in the room although there was in the corridors. Also in our room the bathroom although adequate had a lot of mold in the shower. It was also a little disappointing that a breakfast whilst there was a good selection of bread and meat and cheese products there was a lack of fresh fruit products. What was more annoying is that whilst some reviewers were glad of free parking the option given to us was at 9.50 Euros a night. It should be known that the car park is under ground and dark which is only lit by sensors, a little disconcerting if you are of a sensitive nature. It is very doubtful if we would use in the future.

The room was tired but location fab, staff very friendly and helpful and we got free parking, we didn't have breakfast so can't comment on food. We would stay here again as location is perfect and we had a great breakfast over the road at the Irish bar.

Had a great experience in the Kyriad, terrific value for money clean comfortable, reasonably sized room, good bed, air con-wifi-tea, and coffee making facilities, water . Near the station and centre, super friendly staff. Well done Stephano

We had a super time in the Kyriad. The rooms were clean comfortable, had tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water and nice amenities in the bathroom. Location is great, near the station and the centre. The best thing about the Kyriad is the staff, Stefane couldnt have done more for us, he was polite professional and extremely friendly and offered assistance to one of our party who had left her purse behind on the plane. If you are looking for great value you cant beat the Kyriad Toulouse Centre

Drab room, drab paintwork, mold on the bathroom ceiling, generally very tired decor and not recommended for anything other that a business bed for the night. Some nice bistro food nearby is the best I could say about it. Noisy at night as windows not sealed but the the air-con was effective. Car park not for the claustrophobic! Breakfast is minimalist. It's ok if you just need a bed but for any kind of holiday .......... no way! Would I treat my wife here? NO WAY!! There must be better places to stay nearby.

This is not a 4* hotel, but it is a good budget hotel. I paid 120 euros for 3 people for 4 nights, so it is a bargain. Room was drab, but clean, comfy beds, adequate shower. We had a room with 3 single beds for our family of 3 adults. Not much hanging or desk space in the room. Good location, 5 minutes walk from metro. You can buy a group metro ticket where you get 12 rides 'pass tribu' on the same day for a group travelling together for about 5 euros. You can even pay on a credit card, machine is even in English. The hotel has friendly staff and there are a few restaurants nearby, but food is not served until 7.30pm. Lots of bakeries and a supermarket near the station, so we did not bother with breakfast. We visited Carcassonne on the train which was lovely, but you have to select the trains you travel on when buying a ticket (again in English) and I thought it was expensive at about 90 euros. Free wifi really rather good!
