In the middle of nowhere but nice
Very friendly
Great staff and comfortable and quiet rooms.
Convenient to Capital Reef National Park.
The hotel itself seems new, it's very clean, lots of parking, the staff is super friendly and breakfast was yummy (waffles, breads, oatmeals, cereals, mil, yogurts, coffee, juices, etc). It's just about a 20 minutes drive past the Capitol Reef NP and the nearest restaurants are another 15 minutes drive past that. So... if you're coming from I-15 and need to get back to I-15 it's a bit out of the way. HOWEVER it's worth it for the price and the restaurants in Hankesville.
Love the lack of people at Capitol Reef
Cool place to stay.
Great place
We were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice and clean hotel in the midst of the canyons. Staff were nice and helpful too. Only downside is that there weren’t any restaurants close by. It was a perfect rest stop for us after traversing many miles between parks. Highly recommend it!
Staff was very nice and additional discount given for the pool not being open. Con: motel is in remote location and I didn't catch this when booking.
Could not find the property; it was a good 45 minutes from Torrey, where address listed. Maps did not take us there, phones were “down”, per staff. They are aware of issue but no notes are listed on their description of hotel to help find the hotel. Pool was also “down” which was a big reason we chose the hotel. Pretty unapologetic about the whole thing.
Small quiet spot to stay and enjoy the nearby scenic locations. Theres nothing closeby as far as food or restaurants or anything for that matter. It definitely worked out for me, a out of the way from the hustle and bustle and connect with nature. A photographer's wet dream. Staff were extremely helpful, and hospitable.
Everything was good, the stuff is super friendly and accommodating; my only concern is that they should have the hot tub going; or disclose it at the time when you book your room, don’t advertise swimming pool and hot tub if it is not being used. Hence the reason I removed one star from my review.
It is the closest place to stay when visiting Capitol Reef Park. The staff is professional, welcoming, and the rooms are very clean.
There was nothing we liked, it looked like a nightmare. no one should go there, Ever! That was looking from the outside. We never went in, pool was covered and dirty, whirlpool/sauna empty, note on office door said... be back by three. Seems unprofessional to us.
This motel is a great choice for when you are visiting Capitol Reef National Park and the surrounding area. It is on the other side of the Park from Torrey and the distance to get to Capitol Reef is similar for each town. But coming from Rodeway Inn in Cainville, you pass gorgeous scenery you wouldn't otherwise see. As for the motel itself-it is quiet, the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, breakfast is good, and the staff and owners go out of their way to accommodate their guests.
A good rest night in such small hotel and very convenient closeness to the Capitol Reef National Park
