As a business traveler in LA, not having to fight traffic in the morning was my main goal. My morning meeting was less than a mile from the hotel. Mission accomplished.

Nice, quiet and helpful staff. The towels in the room could have been better and what i think might have been a small blood stain on the door boarder. Other than that the place was good.

Good Hotel has all facilities with good restaurant, pool and zim.

The hotel was nice. the elevators were a little wonky, loud and jumpy but other wise ok

Received a lovely room close to the memorial we had to attend. Staff was gracious & friendly & made us quite comfortable.

Great location no heater pool but nice lobby Great customer service close to university

Took the family for college visits to USC and UCLA. Hotel was in an industrial area but didn't feel that way inside. Pretty quiet, although close to highway

Staff was congenial. Found old room keys in the room from previous guest, 1 pack of coffee. Air conditioner a little loud. Room prices a bit high for what you get. I would think pricing to be at $119 for this type of room

Every time my boyfriend is in town from San Diego, we always stay here and we always have the same great experience. Clean rooms and close to where we need to go. Will continue to use this spot until one of us moves. :)

This is 1 of the 2 worst hotel experiences I've had in 20 years. Fluorescent bathroom light that flickered on/off, toilet that trouble flushing, small room, slow internet connection, paper thin walls, but I can even tolerate all that if I can sleep. But not here. We were kept awake until 3 in the AM because partiers in the courtyard outside my window were whooping it up (drinking, yelling, cussing) into the wee hours. I called the front desk FIVE times to no avail. One time, she even told me, they have no place else to go since the pool closes at 10. This does not make it okay for them to disrupt the other paying customers!! How about they go to a bar??? This was not a little bit of noise, this was AWFUL. I could understand their conversations, and hear their cuss words, and the hotel staff was completely unhelpful. The best I got from them that night was I'll ask them to quiet down. This was a terrible way to start our vacation, as we woke up tired and grumpy and had to get an early start. I spoke with a supervisor in the morning, only to be told that he was sorry about my experience, and maybe next time he could give me a reduced rate (there will be no next time) and offered me a free breakfast (a very restricted option). 20 years ago, we had a similar experience with a group of uncontrollable partiers at another hotel chain, and the staff comped our room and apologized. Not Courtyard. I will not be staying with them again. Ever.

The stay was nice and comfortable. The staff gave us a room that was completely trashed when we first arrived. When I went to notify them it took a while for someone to even come to the desk and when they did she did not really apologize for their mistake. I was given a new room that was clean and enjoyed the rest of my stay. The only thing I wish could have changed was that there was no complimentary breakfast for the money I spent.

we found this hotel for a one night stay and came back for another night they were very nice .. would recommened not staying on the first floor you can hear doors slam.

Very professional staff and excellent service! I've already booked another reservation at this hotel for my trip next month because I was so impressed!

Needed a hotel last minute. Wasn't bad, wasn't good. The room was clean, though. Staff was below average (to include desk and barista).

I didn't like the fact that find the elevators seems to be a little adventure but it's a decent find. Paul Mitchell products for the bathroom.

Great hotel overall. A little far from downtown LA but close to the fun things to do by Hermosa Beach area.

Everything was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was very nice because it was pretty close to many fun places. Also neighborhood was safe.

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. Close to 405 freeway which was convenient.

the whole expirience was great the kids loved the stay aswell as my wife. it was very clean staff was friendly but one of them couldnt hurt for her to smile a little more or at least once. the only thing that would have made it excelent would have been a continental breakfast. they dont offer free continental breakfast, when cheaper hotels atleast offer some orange juice and a danish.

I am going to start with my only complaint. Please use softer toilet paper, or travellers should bring their own. This place was great. I needed a great nights rest before a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament at CSU Dominguez-Hills. I also needed a fitness facility to stretch and lightly exercise. This place did all the things I needed. In addition, the staff was very helpful and the breakfast bar/cafe was reasonably priced. I will book this place again next year, without looking anywhere else. Great Job!
