A/C for each room. No elevator.

After driving 6hrs from Montreal we arrived at the Kings iin the area doesn't look safe, there is no parking, the hotel is dirty. The toilet had s*** on the bottom of the seat. Worst hotel I have ever been to.

its in the middle of a street with residential houses and does not have a parking space you have to park like 3 blocks away

smell terrible, almost had to hold the breath, seems from some material, no vetilation, horrable sounded aircondition, no room service

This was my 2nd time. So I knew the area .i got my work done via bus & taxi.it was not difficult to go back & forth to different locations in big city the price was in my budget. Only thing bothered me they did not mention the price they quoted was in American dollars I assumed it was Canadian dollars . So when I saw the bill it was $298 instead $225! .

I felt that this hotel, in a convenient central location, was a good value for the price. Breakfast and wireless were included for free, parking was inexpensive if purchased through the City of Toronto, and the staff was super-helpful. There was even a mini-fridge in the room, though it made working at the desk rather difficult. The room itself was small and awkwardly arranged -- the chair blocked the closet. Most serious was the shower curtain, that did not extend below the lip of the base, hence, wetting the bathroom floor every time.

I needed a room for one night so decided on the cheapest one I could find, and now I know in te future to go for a 2 star or more instead. The staff was very friendly, however the room was something out of a horror movie. The paint on the walls was chipping, the shower had no pressure and the sjower head was broken so I had to duck under it when washing my hair. The tv brightness was dark and could t be adjusted as there were no batteries in my remote, and the new ones front desk gave me also didn't work, so I couldn't even chance channels unless I stood up and walked to the tv. The walls are also paper thin and I heard the conversations everyone was having in the surrounding rooms.

the hotel is very dirty. smell molds and the carpet is terrible.stain everywhere.the bedsheet it looks like never changed, some hair on the pillow and the sheets is stained. when my husband open the tiny fridge there are some left over foods in it. I called the housekeeping and came quickly and removed the left over food from the fridge and said sorry she forgot to check if there are some food left there.Mentioned and showed the sheets ,said she will changed but never happened. It is an over night stay only, so we decided to stay out late and come back just to sleep, but the noise at night, sounds like generator, came out try to look where it came from there is a closed room across where the noise coming from.Ask the reception if its always like he said yes. It was an awful stay, definitely will not coming back and not recommending to someone else.Very old, dirty and not comfortable at all.

I don't understand what all the complaining is about. This hotel was great for the price. The location is close to everything downtown and close to public transportation. The "college town" neighborhood is quaint - despite the bums and some shady characters - never felt threatened at all. The hotel wasn't refurbished with great care - some poor fitting and finishing. The beds and four pillows each were VERY comfortable, and the stand alone shower was AWESOME! If you want basic accommodations at the best price in town, this is the place!

I was in Toronto for a conference and stayed at a few places, including the Westin Harbour and I have to say that this was by far my best experience on this trip. The employees are friendly and considerate and though the building is old it has a quaint feeling, like home. This Inn is not fancy but it does not have to be. It was a pleasure to stay here and plan to do so again when I go back to actually vacation there.

If you are looking for an inexpensive stay. I highly recommend this establishment. Updated, clean, good continental breakfast. The room was a bit warm with no way of regulating the heat that I could see. Air conditioner only worked on fan unless again I was doing something wrong.

I needed a place to stay for a night in Toronto and didn't want to overpay for it. It is a nice budget hotel in the downtown with walking distance to the bus terminal. The room itself is small, but there was everything I need for just one night. Overall, great deal for money I paid.

The hotel was much nicer and cleaner than I expected. The location was near downtown and easy access to stores. I had a slight problem in Toronto and the staff was great in assisting me. They were really friendly and when above and beyond to help me resolve this matter. I would recccommend this hotel and they have great customer service. The workers were caring and really helpful.

It's very well located, but very bad. Breakfast was bad. Rooms were bad, but basic.

THe location is on a spooky street, the "hotel"looks loke an abandoned castle, has no parking, you have to pay for it. The closet in the room has no shelves, the bathroom had a hole in the wall,a glass instead of a window that never opens.the room si reallly small. The listing has faked pictures that belong to a different hotel in Arabia Saudit.

This was the third time I've stayed at this hostel, and I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating the man working behind the desk was. He upgraded our room for free because they hadn't filled all the rooms, and was very helpful in answering our questions. The beds were pretty uncomfortable, but they were clean, and we had clean towels. In the past, my room had been dirty and there were used towels and soap in the bathroom. So this was a welcome change that my companions and I embraced. These rooms are much cheaper than any other hotels in this area - the quad rooms fit 4-6 people. If you're going with a group of friends and you're only going to sleep a few hours, definitely try this place at least once.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Very central and close to the subway. The hotel itself was horrible. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Bedbugs in the bed. Loud obnoxious kids in the hallway all night. Room was not cleaned the next day. A bag of trash was left in front of our door in the morning. Parking lot is big enough for 6 cars only and you must pay an additional fee to use it. Neighborhood is not a good family environment. Good location is all the Downtowner Inn has to offer. 2 blocks from Union Station. Spend the extra money and sleep in a real hotel.

..amenities, outdoor appearance, indoor appearance (fairly good).. I was in town for a soccer tournament on a limited budget. It's not a ritzy hotel, but it fulfilled my needs well while considering my monetary limitations. On a side note, a raccoon casually passed me as I strolled in late at night, but someone had left food out front, so can ya blame the animal? Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

It doesn't look bad from the outside. However, when we checked in, I could tell right away that the place was a dive. Check in was very slow. While standing there, waiting for the lady to check us in, I noticed the monitor that displays various sections of the hotel. Not only was it never looked at, it was flickering so bad that you couldn't really see much. The place was so old that they still give out literal keys instead of swipe cards. When we walked into the room, I was creeped right out. The place was so tiny that the bed barely fit in it. The bedding appeared clean but the rest of the room was not. The bathroom and the entire room was dirty and falling apart. To top it all off, we got two $30 parking tickets while we were there. One at 9:57pm and the other at 8:07am the next morning. My bf was outside at 10am (two hours later) having a cigarette and noticed the meter people coming again. Apparently in Toronto, the third ticket they tow. There were not any 'no parking' signs on the street where we parked so we thought it was safe to park there. It reminded me of the movie "Vacancy". The place was so creepy that my bf made sure that he slept by the door.

Terrible, very dirty, bad smell, broken bed, they don't clean the air for many years. the breakfast was 2 pancakes. I've been in so many hotels, but any one was like this.
