Hotel Carlingview Toronto Airport

The lobby is clean and decent but the hall ways smelled old and dank. The carpet looked ok but seemed worn, old and past it's replacement date. The room was clean but -- well, just as I laid across the bed a huge bug (I don't know what kind. I'm from Fl so I've seen roaches) crawled from behind the dresser and across the wall. I killed it then had a hard time closing my eyes to sleep. Overall: Not the worst but next time I will pay the extra $ for the Marriott.

I called ahead and they made sure to have a crib ready for our daughter, waiting in our hotel room.

It is very weel located if you come/go from/to the airport. They also have a shuttle which is very convenient. Is is either well located to take buses, which are amazingly good in Toronto. The bad thing about my stay was related to my bag. I left it in the hotel deposit after checking out in order to pick it up later. Unfortunately when I asked back for my carry-on bag I discovered it had been given to someone else because the other guy bag was similar to mine. The manager was very helpful and the guy that took may bag was just great and some days later I received my bag back in US. Luckily I was on vacation, I don't want to imagine how it would be if was in a business trip.

Convenient to airport and room was clean. Breakfast includes only some marginal pastries, coffee, and tea. No juice, no fruit, no toast, no bagel, no cereal, no milk, etc. Make sure to have the number and call for the airport shuttle rather than just relying on it to show up.

Close to airport and a value for your money. Nothing fancy here. I was a little disappointed at the lack of selections at the breakfast. Check in staff was very nice and the shuttle was timely from the airport.

Nice big room with a good size bed. They should blockade the ligth coming from the hall under the door at nigth. Breakfast is just some muffins and coffe. Close to the bus station. Good for the price.

Two nights, no complaints. Close to airport and convient to downtown.

The hotel was average, nothing special. The breakfast was only muffins and danish, coffee and tea.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Really nice experience.

The Carlingview is a nice, clean, hotel situated close to the airport and next to other hotels, restaurants, and park/ride lot. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport and free wifi in the rooms. The room itself was very clean, comfortable, and quiet so it was a definite fit for what I was looking for during a one night stopover in Toronto. If you need or want to stay near the airport, especially without a car (they do have a parking lot as well, just noting its central location and easy walk to food etc) this is a very solid choice. Only minor complaint was breakfast ran from 3am to 7. Nice that it starts early I guess but 7 is an awfully early stop as well. But other than that small thing this was a very good choice, especially at an affordable price.

The Carlingview room was very clean and comfortable. The shuttle back and forth from the Toronto Airport was great: friendly driver and efficient as well.
