This hotel is just a couple of blocks from the office on Eglinton East. Free WiFi worked well. Complimentary breakfast was good for the hotel's price range, and included service to refill your coffee and clear the table. The pool was not open yet in early May. Most everything is acceptable, with a few missing features and maintenance issues you would expect in an older hotel. Tiny bathroom, too-bright lights, worn carpeting, blackout curtains that don't quite close and an odd layout most likely from several remodels ago. The only real problem is that I was refused a printed receipt on check-out, and the email copy never made it. I had to call to have it re-sent.

The hotel is on a small lot in a busy part of mid-Toronto. Parking is by valet only and extra.

Nice hotel. Poor heating and cooling system. With AC on could not get temperature in room below 76 degrees F. Varied between 76 and 80. Maintenance staffs answer was to open the window in the room and turn unit off. This did not work. The television reception was poor.

very clean, excellent service, great location close to everything, on sight parking a definite plus!!

Unfortunately, there were no regular rooms left, and I was forced to take a smoking room. This room was absolutely disgusting. The entire room reeked of smoke. Seriously, everything, the furniture, the bedding, the bathroom, the towels. The smell was so strong it was headache inducing. I had to fly out to some meetings directly from this trip. When I arrived I had to wash my clothing immediately because everything that was in my bag picked up the stench. I asked to change rooms as soon as I checked in, followed by every other day and it couldn't be arranged. On my final day, they finally got me a switch, but not until I complained to the manager. They originally said it was "impossible" to switch me since it was past the check out time (even though I had asked every day previous and told them to make a note to contact me as soon as a non-smoking room became available.) Overall, the experience was so poor that I'll likely never stay at another Best Western again.

Had a great three day stay here. The room was very comfortable and clean and staff very helpful. Nice to have the good continental breakfast included. Would definitely recommend this place to friends. So many restaurants and stores surrounding. Didn't have time for the pool but great they have one.

The location of the hotel was perfect, a train ride to downtown. The gym was small but nice and clean. The pool was small as well but did it's duty. Must say the breakfast was more than delicious. My only negative was the hotel was too cold for my liking.

This hotel is a good place to stay if you are looking for a value hotel, it is conveniently located, with eating places and supermarkets close by. The Staff is helpful and courteous.

I stayed in Toronto for 9 nights at the Best Western. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and it was easily accessible to where i needed to go. Downfall is there is no airport shuttle. Paying $55 for a cab is never fun!

I was in Toronto to catch a Blue Jays game and visit family. The hotel was reasonbly priced, a good location, and the room was clean and comfortable. The subway station is a walkable distance or you can take the bus and transfer. The neighborhood is quite, but aroung the Yonge and Eglinton area there is a lot to do.

My sister and I visited the city and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was clean and so comfortable. The staff was great, they even gave me a wine glass to take back to my room for me. We would definitely go back!

Great location in an interesting and vibrant part of Toronto. Restaurant is open only for breakfast (very nice buffet, complimentary) but there are numerous very good restaurants in all price ranges within a short walking distance. Parking is valet only but service is prompt and courteous. Only thing that could be improved is the slow elevators.

This hotel was very convenient to all the fabulous shopping and restaurants on Mt. Pleasant. Breakfast was great and the bed was super comfortable! There is a charge for parking.

Great Stay, wish simple things as remote control battery cover wasn't broken little things like that made it annoying..

Totally disappointed in the attitude of the staff at this hotel because of the fact that we had booked through Orbitz. Gave us a smoking room when we specifically requested a non smoking room. They were unwilling to accomodate us because we had not booked directly with them. Hotel charged 14.00 per night for parking and offered valet parking only although our car ended up parked 20 feet from the entrance. Hotel charging patrons 8.00 for continental breakfast . Coffee considered a continental breakfast. Location is not central to the downtown area but price reflected a central location.

Business.

There are literally no hotels in midtown Toronto. If you need to stay in this location, then this really is your only option. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, but just has an old feel to the room. If you need a spot to just sleep in thats's clean with literally no frills, then well worth it. If you're going with your wife and/or family, then I suggest somewhere else

Nothing to complain about, beds were comfortable room was clean if a bit small. Perfect for a quick one-day business trip to Toronto.

The location was great being close to the city. The building and the bathroom needs thorough updating. The shower needed new grout and maybe new fixtures and painting.

convenient to public transportation, grocery store and brewery
