Nice place, good breakfast. But not so close to attraction.
Didn't feel comfortable going out to find a place to eat, ended up having delivered
First time visiting an air B&B and selected it because ot the reviews. The owners are definitely what made the difference. Very welcoming and accommodating. Jaime’s breakfast was delicious. Close to downtown. Parking is scace.

Thank you so much for your review. While we truly can appreciate that not everyone is comfortable in the centre a large multicultural city, it is such a pity you didn't leave the B&B to experience the vast array of different ethnic restaurants in the area. We believe it is truly a phenomenal area with so much to offer only 4 stoplights from the central core of downtown but yes...like any major city, when you are in the thick of it all you will see street people. Alan and Jamie.

It was wonderful to meet and are happy you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the parking we won’t deny it can be a challenge at times but there is almost always a spot on the street and we were glad there were two spots directly in front of the B&B when you arrived. As a back up the parking permit will also permit parking in the two streets parallel to ours an East of us. In 17 years of running the B&B we can only think of 2 or 3 times a guest has had to do this but unfortunately we understand it was necessary for you to park on the street behind us when you returned in the evening. We suspect this actually had a lot to do with the weather as the city still had not plowed the back lane that leads to the homeowners on the streets parking garages. As a result many homeowners who would normally park in their garages opted to keep their car out on the street rather than risking getting stuck in the back lane. This created an inordinate number of cars parked on the street. Nonetheless we do understand that your reality was a reality and we are sorry about the difficulty finding parking later in the evening.
Thanks you so much for your excellent rating on our B&B! We are so glad you liked it here. We do understand, and assume, by stating "not so close to attraction, you mean places like the CN Tower. It is true it is about a 45 minute walk away (easy by transit but still a long walk). We do think its important to communicate, however, that as far as we are aware we are one of the closest B&B's to the corner of Yonge and Dundas, were the Eaton Centre is located (if not the closest). It is a 10-15 minute walk depending on walking speed, and is widely considered to be the central corner of downtown. Guests would be hard pressed to find a closer B&B to the centre of the city. Having said that, if a guest truly wants to be on the CN Tower side of things (which is further from downtown than us) there are options out that way but there aren't really any houses, which means there isn't much in the way of a B&B, so a Hotel might be a better option. It's just a reality of the way Toronto is laid out. B&B's tend to be slightly East of Yonge Street and the CN Tower etc is quite a distance West of Yonge Street. At the end of the day I guess,"close to attraction" depends oil which attractions in the city you wish to see.
