Very good, nice place i will recommend to feiends and family

This was my first trip to Tokyo and I wanted to be close (within walking distance) to the skytree, Sensoji temple, and a few other places on my sight seeing list, so Red Planet was the perfect spot. It's also very convenient if you are flying in from Haneda since you can take the train directly to the Asakusa Station. The Tawaramachi Station (Ginza Line) is also close by. I mainly used those two stations when venturing to other parts of the city. The hotel staff was helpful and some of them spoke English. Even still those who weren't were able to assist you. The only negative was the breakfast. Some items that should have been warm were cold.

The Red Planet is a "no frills" hotel. With that being written, you still get some great perks staying there. The room is somewhat small, the bathroom even smaller. But that's Tokyo! The bathroom has a wonderful and powerful rain shower and of course the "intelligent" toilet Japan is known for. The bed is hard but comfortable. The only disappointment is the TV. All Japanese channels and only BBC World was in English. This is not a major issue, as you do not spend much time in your room when visiting Tokyo anyway. There is a mini fridge and a 7/11 is just a block away for all of your snack and sundry needs. Green tea and a water boiler is provided in the room and a razor, brush, disposable washcloth, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided daily. If you choose to have their breakfast, understand that you will be having a traditional Japanese breakfast, not a western breakfast. Lots of salad, tofu, rice and fish. It was very good....but if you are looking for pastries and the like, skip it. The Red Planet is a relatively new hotel and it shows as it is immaculately clean and modern. I would highly recommend staying there

Modern , very clean, quite, minuts walk from E, G or A metro stations, easy,(from/to Asukusa station) dirrect connection with airports ( check schedule at the metro station), located in the historical Asucusa, with a lot of restaurans around and supermarkets. Tea maker in the room with complimentary Japanis tea bags. Very goog for solo travelers, a lot of tourists around after dark. Easy to go to different parts of Tokyo by metro. I enjoyed my stay and choice. The Rox supermarket has good choice of sushi and other ready to eat dishes and salads. I would stay her again!
