ROYAL PARK HOTEL THE SHIODOME , Tokyo

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Staff was great from check in. Room was clean with all amenities. Hotel has 2 restaurants and a few more in the courtyard. Has small laundry room to do some laundry for long trips but not many machines and they are taken up fast. Hotel says it is close to train station for shiodome but most trains don't stop there you have to get off at Shimbashi station and walk mostly in the underpass.

Great Hotel, close to everything, market, train, food, shopping...

Royal Park Hotel the Shiodome is an excellent hotel. The lobby is beautiful, the staff is eager and friendly, and the rooms are clean with nice views of the city. The hotel is near food and a ten minute walk to the Ginza. Shimbashi station is a five minute walk making traveling to other parts of the city easy. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very cool hotel, beautiful modern details throughout, good service; comfortable but small rooms with great views

Wonderful hotel in a great location. The hotel is situated in the upper levels of a high-rise building nearby several subway lines. The rooms offer incredible views, and are very clean and comfortable.

Staff are very helpful. Enjoy Breakfast and nice view.

Extremely helpful/friendly hotel staff. Helped me secure reservations for dinner. Hotel lobby is located on the 24th floor of the building so you have to take 2 lifts to get to your room (one to get to the lobby, then a separate one to get to your room). But since all rooms are located on the 26th floor or higher, you are well removed from the traffic located at ground level. Great accommodations. Rooms are a little small, but that's to be expected with the space constraints of Tokyo.

Friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are clean, close to the stations and walking distance to Tsukiji market.

Clean and spacious hotel rooms (we stayed in a superior double). Modern appointments and feel. Very courteous staff.

We stay in the hotel for two nights and absolutely love the suite we got. It fits 4 of us comfortably. The location is great too. Only one subway stop from Ginza and there are two major subway stations under the building. Very convenient to go everywhere.

Hotel class is high class, so it is gorgeous. Staffs are very educated. Room is not so big, but it's clean and it has enough amenities. Bar is also good. You can go any time to the convenience store which is just basement floor of the hotel and can buy anything. You can go direct to Shiodome and Shinbashi station from the hotel by using the underground passage, so you do not need to be wet even in rainy day. Overall, it's very convenient and great.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, right off the Tokyo Loop line in Shinbashi. Nice views of Tokyo from high up. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rooms big for Tokyo but the furniture looked a little worn. Kinda pricey though for what you get though.

I recently stayed at the Royal Park Shiodome from 4-12-2010 to 4-16-2010 and I was pretty happy with the hotel service, buffet breakfast and internet connection. I took advantage of the Bed and Breakfast special, which included free breakfast and internet. The location is ideal for getting around Tokyo.
