All staff members at this hotel were pleasant and efficient. We booked two rooms for a total of four people and they were able to give us adjoining rooms. Both rooms were very clean with lots of amenities given every day (toothbrushes, combs, slippers, Qtips, etc...). Our reservation included breakfast. We were given 10 points per person per day for breakfast but often we only needed to use 5 points to have have a complete meal. After 5 nights stay we were able to use our remaining points to fill our suitcases with snacks. We love this point system! Free coffee was much appreciated throughout the day. Towels, robes and bed sheets were always super clean. Thank you for that. The only suggestions for improvement that we would make are: more hangers needed for clothes in the rooms; better dryer machines for the laundromat on first floor. Other than this, the hotel met all our needs and even exceeded our expectations in some areas.

Very small rooms which is typical of most affordable hotels in Tokyo. Good comfortable bed and a very good shower (in a very small bathroom). Great location very close to Kanda Station which is one stop from Tokyo Stn and very close to the great restraurants at Kanda. Friendly staff. Quiet location

We stayed at this hotel last week. I was very surprised at how great it was. They actually held my reservation after a mix up with EXpedia. I was worried, we arrived in Tokyo late in the evening with only an email from an ICI manager saying they would honor the reservation. We arrived at ICI aroud 9:30 PM and my fears were put to rest. We had two rooms. Right next two each other which I had requested and they made it happen. Big rooms by Japanese standards. VERY CLEAN rooms! Comfortable beds. Bathroom equipped with everything you might forget, qtips, hair ties, razors, tooth brushes, toothpaste, etc etc etc. Within walking distance to the train station and to Akihabra (which was a hit with the boys). Complementary umbrellas (it rained the whole week we were there with the exception of one day.) Staff super friendly and willing to help. Very accommodating and English speaking. Would I stay at this hotel again? ABSOLUTELY YES, WITH NO DOUBT YES! My son is already planning another trip to Tokyo and I have told him to book this hotel again. The area is very safe (Tokyo over all is safe). Kanda is not over crowded as other areas. It is very peaceful. Oh, also, within walking distance to the Tokyo Pokemon center. Plenty of restaurants around and cafes. Please visit ICI Kanda when in Tokyo, you won't regret it. And thanks to the manager who promised me those two rooms and kept his promise. We had the best time in Tokyo!

Good stay for the 4D/4N we needed it. The room was very small but we love the use of space and to be honest, we only needed it for sleeping. We had to do "tetris" with our (4) luggage(s) and stuff but it was expected since I know I booked a small room, so no complaints. We also had everything we needed like mini ref, a safe, luggage storage, coffee/tea drawer, clothes drawer, trash can (all under the bed!) :)...there's also a (foldable) table, great shower and toilet seat, some hangers. We found the bed a little too hard for us but then we have a tempur matress at home so that's the comparison. It was still comfortable. The most important thing for us is cleanliness and it did not disappoint. Free coffee and tea and a mini snack bar where (where you can purchase stuff) is also a plus at the mini lobby reception. Location. It's our first time in Tokyo and tho we don't know much about good areas, we love ICI in Kanda. It's walking distance to Akihabara (which is the main area for my husband's gadget shopping!) but it's also quiet and walking distance from many stations so going around was easy. We think the surrounding areas is a bit high end which is good. No rowdy people walking around and you feel calm at night walking back to your hotel. All in all, I would say we would stay here again if we go Tokyo and this is best for couples or solo travellers.

This hotel is an easy walk to the Kanda station. Rooms are smallish, even by Japanese standards. The bathroom was large enough though. Unfortunately, so much of the room (heat, ac, lights, tv) is controlled by a tethered pad that could only be reached by climbing onto the bed and reaching across to to a little cubby where it's stored. Aggravatingly annoying. Plus, it did not always work correctly. Not easy to control the television either. The bottom line? The Kanda tries too hard to be high tech. The lobby food area looked interesting though I just could not be bothered with the 'purchase points to buy food' routine they had. Again, too complicated. My room was right next to the elevator. It was absolutely noise-free so don't worry if yours is there too. Very quiet hotel.

Had no idea how close it was to central Tokyo til the tour bus dropped us off at the hotel. Staff very helpful and where very good to us and let us into our room early as this was our first destination and landed 7.30am and knew we couldn't get into our hotel rooms till 3, which was very hard, staff let us in 1.30pm which we were so grateful for. Took a while to get used to their point system for breakfast, but we managed to buy lunch with the extra points left over after breakfast. Rooms small, as they all are, but very practice and has everything fitted into the room. Had a Great time would definitely recommend

A great hotel in an excellent location for a very good price. We got the bus from narita airport for £13pp to Tokyo central from there is was a 15 minute walk. The hotel looks brand new very clean and fresh. The staff that greeted us were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was lovely very clean and high tech! Near to the reception is a social area where you can get free tea coffee and water. You can also purchase alcohol and food In this area while playing snooker. The hotel is located very close to the metro and a 24 hour ticket is only £4. Plenty of places to eat near by.

Conveniently located between Kanda station and metro. Very friendly staff. Small but clean room, everything is up to date and looks new. Rooms are a little small, for two people it is just enough to have two big suitcases open on the floor/luggage stand. For breakfast there are points you can redeem for all kinds of food, but you can also choose from the variety of snacks and drinks available (many savory snacks, very few sweet ones, bottled water was unfortunately not available the last days)

Excellent hotel, very clean and nice and comfortable size twin room in Japan, close to Train Stations and plenty of food outlets nearby. Ginza shopping and Akhibara within 15 min walks. Highly recommended

Location - very close to Kanda JR station (use south exit the closest), which is just 1 stop to Tokyo, and accessible to other places on JR Yamanote. Lots of kombini and restaurants. Hotel - clean, offer free drink in the lobby, microwave is also available in the lobby. Very new so things are still sparkling. Room - quite ok size for Japan. I'd rather have slightly smaller bed to gain few inches of floor. Sheets are clean, bathroom are clean and well stocked up. Staff - really friendly and eager to help. Speak English so very helpful for non nihonggo speaker. Other - has restaurant where you can order food at certain times of the day (didnt try so cant review). Laundry room is also available for around 500y (not tried). I feel the room is too warm when using heater. The air was directed towards your face because the air cond / heater is attached on the ceiling facing you when you are lying on the bed. Its quite difficult if using auto climate control - it tends to be very warm and the air dried my skin that lead to very uncomfortable and unhealty feelings.. I end up switching off the air cond / heater. I hope this can be improved somehow because other than this, i enjoyed staying in this hotel. However, it is important to feel well and healthy on holiday too.
