In the city center, Hotel The Celestine Tokyo Shiba is in Tokyo's Minato neighborhood, an area with good airport proximity. KidZania Tokyo and Roppongi Hills are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Tokyo Bay and Shiba Park. Tokyo Tower and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden are not to be missed. Our guests appreciate the hotel's convenience to public transportation: Shibakoen Station is just steps away and Mita Station is 5 minutes by foot.
The hotel was nicer than I expected but was not without its issues. There was mold in the bathroom, each morning there was also tons of condensation around the window. Not any good area to keep luggage in the room. Lounge access was offered but the lounge itself only had limited juicer and coffee machine which was ultimately useless. My biggest gripe was at the end I was waiting for a taxi to leave, I had booked an Uber and while waiting another couple came outside for a taxi as well as one of the staff. She asked if I needed help which I didn't. The taxi arrived and my app stated my ride was arriving. The staff member told me the other couple was first in line. Ultimately it was not my taxi that I called as the one I called arrived seconds later so the couple did get that taxi but I explained to the staff that it was rude to push that couple ahead of me since I was outside waiting before they had even come out. Area is drab, office area not many food options nearby, 3 train stations fairly close but ended up taking train to other parts of tokyo each day.
