I stayed here for three nights at the end of my Japan trip. I loved the location! It's a very modern area with great shopping and attractions close by. Its also easy to get to as the train station is one block away. The room was clean, but on the small side which is to be expected in Japan. Loved that they had a Lawson convenience store right in the hotel. We purchased our DisneySea tickets from the Lawson. There's lots of dining choices within a 10-15 minute walk towards the malls. The staff were very helpful and friendly; especially when I left a belonging on the Disney bus, they helped track it down and securely held it for me until the next morning. Would highly recommend this hotel.
This is our second visit to Hotel Sunroute Ariake. The differences this time is that the hotel is under renovation (I believe for the better as the hotel looks a little highly utilized) and we took the complimentary shuttle bus to Tokyo Disneyland (very convenient). We stayed in a double room this time so the bed was slightly bigger. Firm and comfortable. Room is size is also slightly bigger. Would appreciate if bottled water is provided.
This hotel was a disappointment from day one. First their web page only shows a Google map of where they are located. They don't help you get to/from the hotel. All I had to go on was a pin on the map. (hint, there's a bus direct to/from Narita which makes it easy - taking trains is long and not at all easy!) The room was small and forever too hot (must have been 85 with the heat off). The breakfast was not memorable. The only thing going for this hotel is the location near Disneyland and the Big Sight. p.s. the internet was very slow.
Hotel Sunroute Ariake is great! We stayed for 6 days & had 3 families with children ages from 2years old to 19. The area is very clean, quiet and very close by the train station & neighboring Odaiba. Very safe to walk leisurely around even at night. Will definitely stay here again.
I stayed for 4 nights in mid-October. Very nice staff, can speak English quite well. Very easy to book the free shuttle bus to/from Disneyland/sea via email in advance. They had our bus voucher ready when we dropped off our luggages. I just wish they provide the foot massage machine in every room (my mother stayed in a different, smaller room so there's none in there). Also, check-in MUST be after 3pm. I understand that we won't be able to enter our room before check-in time but in this hotel, we were not even allowed to pay when we arrived. We were going to spend the day at Disneyland until around 11pm so we expected to have the room ready by then. A bit inconvenient but my stay was overall amazing. Breakfast was also very good. Hotel is very close to the Rinkai Kokusai-Tenjijo Stn.
stayed here for 4 nights. Staff can speak english and very helpful. Free shuttle available if you are going to disneyland/disneysea. Clean toilet and room and free wifi available. Very near to train station.
The staff can speak English well and are very accommodating. The rooms are clean. I loved the free foot massage machine in the room and the free dehumidifier. There is also a free shuttle going to the Disney Parks. They also have an easy booking process for the airport shuttle bus.
Stay 5 nights in this hotels is amazing. Clean and the room is smart while near to 3 train station. Just walking distance to Tokyo Big Sight (expo center) and some of Shopping center. Do forget to bring Japanese adaptor while you have to buy to the receptionist. Near by seven eleven and have beautiful garden near building. Quite far from narita airport but near handed, but don't worry they have limousines bus can drop you from and to Narita. Just noted that some reception not speak English well so you should talk with body language and they less of smile. The house keeping staff and restaurant staff is more kind and very nice. Management should train the FO staff to more smile,.. they are to stress I think. Do not put train or internship in Front office! As a guest we are stressful talk with you training or intern who can't speak English well! Check in time is 3pm and no negotiations! So you should ready with that,.. thank you
This hotel was one of the closest hotels to the Tokyo Big Sight were we attended the 3-day Trade show. Very convenient and it was all worth the distance. Though I would say that during trade show dates -- the room rates tends to escalate alot and making it expensive for a longer stay. Very near to Yurikamome line and the Rinkai Line. Convenient stores and restaurants nearby (located at the TFT building) -- Lawsons on the 2nd floor of the hotel! and 7 eleven store infront of the hotel. Plus the fact that the hotel is a member of Disney's Good neighborhood offering free shuttle bus services to and from Disneyland and Disneysea. Easy access from either Narita or Haneda Airport through the Airport limousine bus. Very convenient as the airport limousine bus drops and picks you up directly from your hotel's doorstep. Hotel staffs are very nice and courteous making themselves available at all times. Though language is a bit of a barrier -- they tried their best to express themselves politely. I think that the hotel should try to look into reburbishing some of the rooms like the walls are dirty with some stains, smelly and dusty carpets. But the rest I couldnt complain more.
I stayed in this hotel because it is close to the Tokyo big sight exhibition centre, just 5 min walk. It took 45-50 min to reach the hotel from Narita Airport by Airport Limousine bus which costed me 2800 JPY. Its a very quiet place. Staff is very courteous. Overall very good place for a short business trip.
