A few minutes walking distance to Senso-ji Temple and both Ginza and Asakusa subway lines and just 1 subway stop to the Skytree. The room was very well equipped and everywhere was exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free coffee, tea, soup and icecreams was a very nice touch.

I loved that the staff greeted me with warm and genuine smiles from the first moment I walked in after the journey from hell and through torrential rain in Tokyo. The room was pleasant and cleaned on a daily basis. The housekeeping staff are to be commended for their thoroughness and diligence, always working to exceptionally high standards. The breakfast buffet options did rotate a bit, though the halal options were just the seafood and vegetarian items. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful, able to converse in many different languages. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great service, very nice location. Small room

The hotel was a mixed bag. The service was great, the amenities were good. However the room size was very cramped. This was the only hotel in our Japan trip where we couldn't open the luggage except on bed. The bathroom was quite decently sized compared to the bedroom, and had good amenities. The AC worked excellent, and there was no disturbance nearby. They have 3 coin laundries too. When we arrived, they held our luggage for us in the storage. We had also booked tickets for Ghibli Museum beforehand and delivered to the hotel, and they had kept it safely and handed it over to us at checkin. As for the location, it's a little inconvenient to travel from tourist areas such as Shinjuku/Shibuya/Harajuku and with the JR Pass doesn't get all the way. You need to take the Tsukuba Express from Akihabara (8 minute walk) or take the bus 46 from Ueno station (3 minute walk) for 210 yen each. However as we roamed around the area at different times of the day, we were very pleased with staying here. Senso-ji temple is 2-3 minute walk from the hotel, and we saw it at 5 am, 12 pm and 10 pm seeing the empty/ tourist-filled version and beautifully-filled night version. The market is great too with souvenirs and has old town charm with rickshaws. We loved Mameshiba cafe, Jungle owl cafe. Asakusa Station is 18-minute walk, but takes you direct to Haneda Airport. So despite our reservations, we'd consider staying in Asakusa again. The hotel is very nice, except for small room for price.
