Great value , nice neighborhood , peaceful and easy access to transportation. Very nice buffet breakfast. If possible, get a room with a view of the Bay. We have stayed here on numerous occasions and have always been pleased. Highly recommended!

Clean, peaceful and close to everything... Book the room with the buffet breakfast included for an even greater value. We have stayed here multiple times and have always been delighted.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The room was kept impeccably clean and every personal toiletry imaginable, and some I had not imagined, are provided free of charge, e.g. hair brushes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razor, shaving gel, q-tips and much more. We had the greatest view from our room that we have ever had: the Tokyo skyline with Mount Fuji in the background. You could only see Mount Fuji on a clear day, however, and I am surprised the hotel did not take care of that also. The neighborhood is mainly large corporate office buildings, so is quiet but has plenty of stores, restaurants, Tokyo Tower and a large park nearby. Just be aware the hotel rooms are small by U.S. standards, but that will be the case anywhere in Japan unless you pay an exorbitant price. We paid about $150 a night, which is darn good for what we got.

Very nice hotel. Location is close enough to a few stations (Mita, Shibakoen for Metro and Tamachi for JR). Very clean, staff is professional. Very pleasant stay.

Great Hotel. Close to the subway. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Beautiful view of the city. Hotel was located to many temples.

It's a great value for the money and the view of the city and Mt. Fuji as the sun sets is amazing!

Good hotel for the price in Tokyo and location is not bad. Clean rooms, VERY friendly staff. If restaurant was better (much better) and they could add an ATM - would be great. In general, I would recommend this hotel.

Room is very clean and has a great view. -Quiet from street noise. All rooms are located on higher floors. Lounge is very nice with excellent free coffee.

This was my second time staying at the Celestine Hotel, and will not be my last. Great location in a nice quiet nook of Tokyo, but only minutes from the madness of Shibuya and Shinjuku. The staff members were incredibly attentive, handling dinner reservations and giving instructions to taxi drivers.

I've stayed at the Celestine about 6 times over the past 2 years and always found it to be an exceptional value. The front counter service is excellent, the hotel is clean and friendly, and the restaurants there are good. Here's the secret: If you exit through the back of the hotel and walk toward Mita station you'll pass through an entertainment district (about 5 min walk). This place has some of the best old-time Tokyo restaurants and bars I've ever seen. My wife is Japanese, and she was very excited to visit old Minami-ku.

Reasonable 4 star near Tamachi station, between Shinagawa and Tokyo stations, which is very convenient in itself, but the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the station, so 4 star for location. No gym is a huge con. But there's a large park nearby for a morning run. The fastest internet I've ever seen in a hotel! 50Mbps+ - can watch movies, etc..

The lounge serving tea and coffee is definitely helpful. A bit far from JR station but still within manageable distance.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Tokyo. Great breakfast buffet and free coffee in lounge was a nice addition. The staff also helped us recover our sunglasses after we had left the country. Very good experience.

Very comfortable room with a 24 hour lounge on the 14th floor. Always had coffee, tea and little cookies available. Staff was great. Just be careful if they give you little green tickets for breakfast. I thought that breakfast was included with the room, but the ticket just allows hotel guests to buy their breakfast for 2,200 yen. I ate there for the first 2 days before I realized that I was being charged. Overall a great experience.

The location is quite convenient since the hotel is located next to a subway station. The rooms are fine. The service is OK, but with a Japanese strange kind of service, you do not feel really welcome.

Overall this is a good hotel. Staff are nice, room is clean and new. The hotel has a room for guests to sit down and relax, talk or read - inside room and patio work perfect for both smokers and non smokers. Close to subway station.

room too small. try to ask staff to leave my luggage for another day since I will be traveling to another city. They refused.

After 15 years of living in Tokyo this was my first occasion to have to stay at a hotel in the city for business. Excellent value for the price of my stay. Location is convenient to great dining in Azabu Juban, Sight seeing at Zozo-ji temple and the park at Shiba-Koen. Close enough (5-10 taxi ride, or 20 min walk) but far enough away from the nighlife in Roppongi. For me it was proximity to my office along with bang for buck. Hotel is very clean, staff friendly and helpful and feels more prestigious than the price (comparatively speaking) might suggest. Free coffee and pastries on the 14th floor lounge was a nice touch as well. I brought my wife and 2 yr old son with me on the trip and the staff gave brought us Crib/baby bed for no charge. Only small hit I would say was the fact that the hotel just recently switched to all non-smoking but I could tell our room used to be a smoking room.

Comfortable. Clean. Near public transport. Friendly & helpful staff.

Nice, clean room, although a little on the small side. The location was good, a short walk to Tamachi station on the Yamanote line, and only a few minutes walk to the Tokyo Tower. Not the best location for food though. Most of the options seemed to be bars or places for a quick meal. The hotel also had a list of nearby restaurants with pretty high per person costs.
