It was a beautiful property and very private. I only wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be back.

Your own piece of oceanfront paradise on an island far away!

We had a wonderful stay at Hammock Moon. We loved to open the windows and listen to the sound of the ocean just 30 feet away! The home is well equipped inside and out with comfortable furnishings, large bath area, outdoor showers with dive gear area, great wifi, and a huge video library. There’s plenty of space to relax while still enjoying all the comforts of home. We especially enjoyed sunning, watching sunsets and the Full Moon from the upper deck area. Stargazing here is a blast! We snorkeled several times right off the pad in front of the home, seeing “flying fish” and loads of other tropical fish on a reef that is natural and pristine. The Parrot Reserve and Lighthouse are nearby. We also enjoyed the remote location yet everything is still within a 15 minute drive. The owner is very responsive making for a perfect experience. We’ll be back.

    Perfect Time

This was the perfect location for some much neeed rest and relaxation. The house is lovely and looks exactly as depicted in the photos. On our arrival within the hour, the Property Manager called to check in if all was well, a nice gesture! Would definitely return!

    We'll be back

Hammock Moon was absolutely perfect for our one week stay on the Brac. The house is lovely and spacious and had all the creature comforts of home. We really enjoyed star gazing on the roof top deck and checking out the occupants in the total pools out front. The swimming out front is hazardous though. You should wait for a calm day and definitely wear booties. The urchins are plentiful. Brittany was very responsive to messages and questions through the app and did her best to make our stay comfortable. We came to the Brac for rock climbing, unlike most tourists which come for the diving. The crags are varied, well bolted, reasonably graded and quiet. A rope bag is a good idea to protect against the sharp rocks at the belay and we also made good use of our stick clip. Being amateur swimmers, we only snorkeled close to shore and found the most life and diversity at Radar Reef just a few minutes down the northside shore. Eating out on the island was challenging with our vegetarian diet (the Asian house was the best option for us) so we really liked having a full kitchen at the house. You can buy most things you need on the Brac, though pricing can be a little bizarre (taco shells were cheap at $2 a box, but cereal was $9). You can save Lodge space by not bringing sunscreen, there was a year's supply at the house 😋. Be sure to check out Barracudas Bar and NIM Things during your down time. You won't forget it.
