        Wash-A-Shore cottage on Cayman Brac

We were met by Patty at the airport which was really great. We followed her to the house in the rental car and she made sure we could get in. She also wrote her personal telephone number on the chalkboard in the kitchen in case we needed to call her. The Wash-A-Shore cottage was absolutely lovely and with two bedrooms and two bathrooms it certainly not only met our needs but gave us ample space to spread out. The cottage was extremely clean, well designed, and well furnished; the owner had done a fabulous job of making her place homey and comfortable. The cottage served our needs of what we wanted to do on Cayman Brac which was to explore the island and my husband is a scuba diver and he took two dives with Reef Divers on the southwest of the island and really enjoyed his dives

Bats in the Belfry (in this case the loft)

Whoever took the pictures did a great job, the house looked very nice. However, it was in fair condition and did not have good amenities. We were scheduled to spend 10 days. The house had been cleaned some time ago before we arrived. It should have been spruced up (cleaned again) before we got there. There were cobwebs, bug trailing, the router was not plugged in and the A/C breaker in the panel was turned off so the house was not cool, and what looked like mouse droppings in the master bathtub. The chairs on the front porch were filthy and the backs of all 3 were cracked. We put a beach towel over them and were very careful sitting in them. We could have worked with this until, the BATS. On the 3rd day, a BAT was flying around in the house. We got it out, but then another bat showed up. We weren't going to stay around any longer to see how many there were. I informed the owner and told her we were moving out right now. By then, we were packing our bags to move to another location. We moved out that evening! She said she would refund our money minus the 2 nights we stayed. But she did not, claiming we left our things and did not move out right away. You should be very leery if you plan to stay there.

            Perfect stay !

Wash-a-shore is. Fine place to stay on this very quiet and relaxing tropical island. We had everything we needed to make our stay nice mdr comfy: well stocked kitchen, Wifi to boot, King size bed, large bathroom. The house is on the middle on the north shore road and access to amenities is simple with a car. I would recommend this place to anyone!

              Spacious and fun!

We had such a great time at Wash-A-Shore. The house was spacious and clean and had everything we needed to have a great time. The kitchen was fully equipped, and everything about the house was so comfortable. Cayman Brac is so small, you really are close to everything. Rent a car or a bike if you're feeling especially athletic. The Brac does not really have sandy beaches but has beautiful waters and reefs, especially great for snorkeling and diving. And we did some hiking. Overall, great stay at Wash-A-Shore.
