Finca Malvasia is a collection of rural boutique lodgings and established working vineyard of 20,000 square meters; in the protected wine region of La Geria, Lanzarote.

Located in the centre of the island, all the best of Lanzarote is a short drive away.

The space

Papagayo is a two bedroom garden apartment at Finca Malvasia. This stylish, garden apartment, backed by volcanoes, with Cesar Manrique style swimming pool can sleep to 4 persons. It has 2 large bedrooms both with ensuite and a large open plan lounge and kitchen with a dining table and 4 chairs. The large outside private terrace overlloks the pool, outside dining and BBQ area and the vineyards and volvanoes which surround the wine estate.


The Property

Finca Malvasia volcanic vineyard retreat was opened just over eighteen years ago by British couple Richard and Tarnya Norse-Evans, both London based designers who transformed the handful of whitewashed cottages (5) and farmhouse (1). Local design hero and architect Cesar Manrique was very much the core influence and they set about developing Finca Malvasia as somewhere visitors could find the authentic Lanzarote whilst still being close to Famara beach and Tias village with its amenities.

By checking into the 20,000sq metre wine estate with its dramatic volcanic backdrop, guests are treated to their own personal island guide with insider tips including where to go, best beaches, where to eat and most importantly on which day of the week. This has been passionately curated by Richard and Tarnya, keen to share the hidden gems of the island with guests.

Guest access

Guests staying in Papagayo will have private access to the suite and the following:

- Open garden space set onto volcanic vineyards to be explored.
- Traditional Cesar Manrique style BBQ with outdoor dining areas.
