Very frendly staff good food nice pool older hotel close to airport big lots of rooms lots of rooms close to car rentals and Wal-Mart resturant is large big screen television very clean just a bit dated but good for the price

Nothing of note. Everything was clean. Front desk clerk was more than helpful. My only comment is that the building is a bit dated and the numbers on the room were mismatched. These aren't huge concerns as the most important thing was well looked after. Clean and friendly staff

I realize the hotel has been around for awhile but it’s time it came out of the dark ages! Bathroom was very dirty :( Hallway carpets are very old and the non smoking section smells like smoke, breakfast is not included and the coffee amenities were not that great. I have no plans to stay at this hotel again, staff was friendly and restaurant food was good

I work in hospitality…in Singapore (lol), so bear with me. Facilities outdated. But not end of the world. Very clean. Front desk people very nice. But you have to sign up and write your information down to have your room cleaned (tacky). Pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna are very good (ie very hot). Pool didn’t have towels, you had to go to the front desk to get them (lame). Gym has good enough equipment, plus free weights. Room very clean and good enough flat screen tv (32 inch, a lil small for the room). Internet access is free and clocks at 4mbps (which is decent for Canada apparently). Pull up ground floor rooms (useful). Sheets are clean and nice, I had a good sleep. Climate control is not really customizable (I like being in a sauna) but I wasn’t freezing. The bar sucks, $15 for 8 hot wings that were, decent but very chintzy portion. Overall very good for the $80usd priceline express deal. Again all staff very friendly and the facilities very clean although worn, but definitely in line with the market. A reno at this place would be quite an undertaking. I’d be happy to come back and I would recommend.

I used to always stay at this place. I found it nice and quiet and clean. However I tried to book a room last week and was told that they no longer accept cash paying customers without a credit card. They do not even accept cash deposits. I do like to use my card as it always takes 4-5 business days to correct it. Sorry guys I will take my business elsewhere that does allow it . Very disappointed

This is the third time we have stayed here and it was the worse. Small room off a smelly hall. Very noisy as it was located on the runway path of the airport. Bathroom had stains on the tile. Room carpet was stained as well. Noisy AC. Uncomfortable bed. Not worth the price paid. We will not stay again. There are several nice hotels in the area that are much better.

Was a prestigious motel, before other name brands showed up in Thunder Bay. Close to the airport. Was used by air crew changes and the lounge was frequented by aviation type people. Kind of lost its grandeur.

Upon booking 100 km east of the hotel, front desk book us and then upgraded us when we arrived in the early evening. We never had that before; it was certainly impressive including the room we got. The pool was shut down due to an emergency; the hot tub sure worked good; nice & hot. Food served at the restaurant was very good; front desk really listened to our comments on how we felt & were treated; there is a parking lot where allot of diesel trucks are overnight; startup in the morning is a disaster.

Gross, small pool, super old. Smells like wet cigarettes. I don’t write reviews but this was necessary. 10 minutes after being in the room I wanted to leave. Would rather pay an extra 30$ for a clean new room. I can see the mattress and box spring.

Worst service ever for a hotel. not even worth a star in my view! Internet didn't even work 98% of the time. place is very much in need of a huge makeover including in it's services! Don't bother coming here!
