The hotel has been remodeled. The new furniture was not comfortable. My room had a bedroom and a living area. When we stayed there before they had a sofa bed in the living area, a table with chairs, and an arm chair. Now they have just a loveseat and a coffee table. Not enough sitting as we had four people in the room. Appliances were old. They had a coffeemaker in the room, but no coffee cups, just clear plastic ones. When we asked for coffee cups they said that we could buy coffee at their restaurant as they didn’t have any coffee cups. The new room decor was very dark, which gave a feeling of being in the basement. Before I always loved staying at this hotel, but I was disappointed this time.
Great place to stay near St. Catherines.
Price and bang for the buck!
Nice hotel. Elegant inside, enjoyed having the one bedroom suite option. Food at the restaurant was average quality and could be better to match hotels overall elegant standards.
No coffee after 9am. Need to purchase coffee. It's not even espresso.
First of all front desk service was not good, not enough
The decor is a bit dated. But the suites are large with a nice floor plan. Beds were not the most comfortable- felt like I was sleeping on a jiggly block of jello. Not the typical buffet breakfast; they give you a ticket and you eat in the restaurant and just choose one entree from the menu. Staff was very polite. Overall, nice hotel and good price.
Service for breakfast was slow, however he servers customer service make the difference Notice the room service trays were in the hall when I arrived and still there in the morning
Clean room
The property is very nice The staff were useless. Had someone try to enter my room with a key that worked. Called front desk they said there had been a mixup but they would call me back. 1hr later I called them because they had not gotten back to me They informed me everything was correct now. They asked if there was anything else they could do. I told them I needed new key cards because mine no longer worked. He said he would bring them up. Another hour later I had to call them again because they had not brought the key cards yet. A different person answered and when I explained the problem he said he would bring the new keys which he did in five minutes. The problem I had was fortunately I was in the room when the other people showed up with a key that opened my door. Otherwise they would have had free access to our room. The only explanation I received from the front desk was there has been a mixup. I had to call back twice to have the proper service from the front desk. At the very least they should have called me back to apologize for the mixup. I thought the whole situation was handled very unprofessional. I hope in future if I stay at a four points hotel that the service is of much higher quality. I was in room 4107 on October 13,2022.
