The location is great. It is right in the park near the pools. I have stayed at this location many times in the past but was extremely disappointed this time. The toilet overflowed with the first flush. When I called for help the desk clerk (only person on duty) showed up at the door and handed me a plunger. I explained there was 2 inches of water (sewage) on the floor and he shrugged his shoulders. We had asked for a roll-away and he showed up with one that not only was not made-up but had no sheets or pillow cases to make it up. The outside doors have signs that state they are locked from 10p to 6a but they are locked 24 hours a day! The showers push half the water out the tub faucet giving the shower very little pressure! It is one of the more expensive in Thermopolis and not worth the money!

Is a nice, albeit somewhat older, hotel full of hunting trophies. The restaurant, lobby, and bar are filled with animal mounts and pictures. Bar was nice and convenient for a drink. Breakfast was okay, but not a lot of selections.

Everything was fine, the breakfast needs a meat!!! Staying at a "safari" hotel and no "meat" for free breakfast!! Very disappointing!! I am not vegetarian!! Bring on the bacon!! And sausage!! Also the oatmeal was always gone? May need a second pot and staff running breakfast area not willing to make more? Saying it would take a 1/2hr to make? Otherwise!! start charging and you may save some guests, don't mind paying the high room rate but include some meat or at least some better options! overall a good stay!

older facility; needs upgrading. restaurant was very good.

The location, cleanliness, amenities, and price were great. The front desk was great, however, the cleaning staff was absolutely awful. Don't get me wrong, they cleaned well. However, they seemed to have no idea what a do not disturb sign means. We had the sign on our door for 3 mornings, and this was our experience every single one of those mornings: staff pounded on our door, unlocked it (note: they had to remove the do not disturb sign to insert the door key), then tried to open it multiple times despite the chain lock. After that, they walked around to the back door that opens up to the pool area and did the same thing. They completely ignored our request to not be disturbed and this happened three days in a row. If that was not frustrating enough, they blared their music while cleaning every single morning. You could hear every single word to every single song from two doors down! We were there for a wedding, so the events leading up to and including the wedding lasted late into the morning hours. We really would have appreciated the cleaning staff respecting guests who did not want to wake up early in the morning.

We came to go to go the hot springs for a couple days. We couldn't find the hotel at first because we were not expecting it to be so close to the water parks, which we were pleased to find out are walking distance away. We liked that the hotel has a pool and a hot spring jacuzzi as well. The hotel provides all the usual hotel services. The staff are all friendly and provide good service. The reason we give a slightly lower score is because of several little things that make a difference. For example, the doors in our room were kind of difficult to open and close, some sort of issue with the handles and alignment with frame. The little table in the room only had one chair, for a room with 3 adults. The shower head is not high enough for those of us that are not short. In summary, we are satisfied with the hotel but there are little things that they could improve to make it more worth the price.

From the moment we checked in the stay could not have been any better. All prior requests were met and two lovely adjoining rooms were made available a short walk from the hot tub and Bighorn River. Located within the parameters of the state park, the hot springs were conveniently located as well as two additional water parks and buffalo herd grazing area. A short drive through town yielded everything needed, including interesting historical sites and photographic locations. A delicious breakfast was available the next morning adjoining a restaurant and lounge which were open later in the day. Only wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere!

I was pleasantly surprised at hotel. Clean rooms and great location! Average breakfast and did not try restraunt. A great touch was the motorcycle wash area! Wish other hotels would follow suit.

We purposely planned to stay at the Days Inn to enjoy the mineral hot springs! They are fantastic. The hotel is dated, but still comfortable. The staff are competent but not enthusiastic. The restaurant on site serves good food, if you are not bothered by all the trophies hanging above your head. It does make an interesting experience. We made this a return trip to enjoy the sulphur rich springs and feel rejuvenated.

Nice room and hot spring pool is good. Short walk to state park hot springs as well.

This was the worst hotel experience that I have had. Our room was filthy, the toilet over flowed twice, the maids never cleaned the room during our three day stay...only provided new towels. The price (111.00) was WAY over priced for this hotel. The breakfast was not a hot breakfast...mainly donuts, muffins, etc. I would have expected a hot breakfast for the price! I stayed at his hotel about 12 years before and it was wonderful...certainly NOT the case now. I could not in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone.

in the park, mineral pool right there, good restaurant, workout facility, nice people, pet friendly. we had a great time.

Close to the hot springs water parks. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is a bit dated in terms of room decor, furnishings, and fixtures -- no comparison to the hotel across the street! The biggest disappointment was our dinner in the Safari Club restaurant. We ended up leaving when the main dish arrived barely warm (and wasn't much warmer after sending it back to the kitchen) -- and this after our soup had already arrived lukewarm and we sent it back twice to be heated properly.

Where to start. The only good thing that I can say about my stay was that the room was clean and the General Manager Mary was excellent. Other than that, the water in the shower ranged from freeze you to scald you! There was no happy medium. The resturant closed before 8 the first night we stayed and then the second night took over a hour to be seated. Service was slow, the waitress was rude. We had booked a weekend water getaway and will never do that again. Waste of money!!

Locals tell me the hotel jacks up the price for the all-school reunion weekend. Staff very helpful but stairwell could use a good scrub. Excellent complimentary breakfast!

no refrigerator or microwave. sunday closed pool, spa & workout rooms at 5 p.m. so couldn't use. went down the street where spas open 'til 9 p.m. beds are placed back to back from one room to another, leading to noisy nights. positive side-great restaurant and unbeatable wildlife photography on walls, rooms very clean though towels supplied for only 2 people-we were 4. i'd stay there again but during the week.

Overall good. No microwave or fridge in room. Microwave in lobby. Breakfast fair. Mineral Hot Springs and park adjacent to hotel. Staff was friendy.

The Holiday Inn in Thermopolis had an easy check in even though it was a late night check in. The staff in the dining facilities were extremely friendly as well as helpful. As we were checking out the next morning, the cleaning staff was helpful in showing us how to navigate the halls and doors. Later the following night, I discovered that I had left a brand new robe at the Holiday Inn. I called the next day, and was told that the robe was waiting for me in house keeping. We picked it up three days later on our way back home. Everyone who worked there was very helpful and accomodating.

This hotel is very conveniently located near the hot springs. It has all of the amenities, restaurant, pool, fitness center, massage. Great for families.
