Our room was ready 1 hr early (2:00pm). This unit is top shelf, the panoramic view from 20th floor. We will surely come back.

I loved the fountain view room we were in. The room is beautiful and the view is probably the best I've ever had. The hotel is nice and clean.
Card readers in the elevators worked about half the time so you got to go up and down a few times before it would read your card and stop on your floor. Everyone seemed to have the problem. It was almost comical that this was a thing. I actually like the hotel and the staff are great. But between the card readers 40 bucks a day for forced valet ( which is extremely inconvenient) I’d rather stay at some of the other more convenient spots.

Checkin time is 3. Our room wasn’t ready at 12:30, no worries, we were early, not ready at 2:30, no problem. Still early. Said they’d text when it was ready. 4:15 - we check… still not ready. Said they’d have housekeeping clean the room right away. 4:45 - still not ready. They need another 45 min to an hour. At 5:45 we finally got to our room with our bags. The bell guys were amazing as was Tara at the pool and Danny at the pool reception desk. The Decoro Ty checking you into the pool was also nice. Disappointed in Vdarra, and with 3 pm being checkin but “not a guarantee” - what does that even mean?!?! Why have a checkin time if it’s meaningless?
Private condo I am told not owned by hotel. This was not disclosed. Cleaners only show up upon request. Shower does not drain for five minutes after you are done. Standing in an inch of water not cool.

Awful hotel. My room smelled like sewage. I called the front desk to have someone come and check it out but didn't show up. I ultimately called to cancel as it was getting late and had to bear with this stench, hoping that at least the smell won't permeate to my work clothes. Checking process was also wonky - The staff gave me a torn up piece of paper and told me to write down my email/phone number; a little sketch... Thought my info would be in the system, but whatever, not a big deal giving out my personal info like that. The hotel is run down, you can tell the rooms have aged. One of the automatic blinds didn't work. The room had random toiletries like Q-tips on the floor when I checked in. Terrible experience for being such an expensive hotel.
I didn't like that I had to self park at another property. I don't like to valet because I have had valets damage my clutch before.
I called before arrival to ask if we can check in early and was told early check in was available. Upon arrival the check in desk said the room wasn't ready and stated it's an "airbnb so we don't know when it will be available but we will text you". Nothing when I booked indicated this was an airbnb, it just stated it was a condo and everything would be the same as regular hotel check-in. After waiting an hour I went back to the desk and asked if there is any idea how much longer it would be and she stated it was ready, so I guess they weren't going to text like they previously stated. The room itself is fine, it has a good layout and space with a modern design. But this unit was filthy. The sheets and comforter for the sofa bed were stained with what looked like blood and black shoe prints. I did message via orbitz to advise the condition of the bedding, because housekeeping at the hotel stated they couldn't help, but by the time I received an orbitz message response a few hours later we had already went to our car and got our own blankets. The bathtub was disgusting and we had to scrub it to make it usable. The shower floor felt slimy like it hasn't been cleaned in months. All of the furniture had a layer of dust over it, fingerprints over the windows and there was opened cereal boxes left in the cabinets. The fridge wouldn't even keep water cold. I wouldn't return to this property based on the staff and the lack of cleanliness. The location is good and centrally located.
