Lovely manager. Made it feel more like a B & B than a roadside motel. Very convenient to everything we wanted to access in the Berkshires.
It was supposed to be pet friendly. There was no staff on site which was quite scary in this remote area. TV didn’t work and it was in run down condition. The manager Rhonda was one of the rudest hospitality staff I have ever encountered. Would never stay again.
I liked the location and that it was back off the road. It was clean and quiet. Could use some soundproofing for neighbor walls, but overall great place. Would definitely stay there again!
The included breakfast is very good with lots of healthy choices.
We really didn't interact much with the staff but the room was great - nicely decorated and it heated up quickly. The breakfast was small but delicious and the area is gorgeous. Nice town.
The location across from Monument Mountain was perfect. the atmosphere there is laid back - spend a lot of time reading in the front yard. and the firepit at night was perfect!
This was a charming retro motel with enough modern amenities to ake it work.
cute little spot with a great hike in walking distance. walls are thin, so can hear kind of a lot of 'neighbor noise' -- thankfully, we didn't have neighbors for the 2nd night. but the rooms are well decorated with everything you need. i'd come back.

I was delighted with my brief stay at Briarcliff and the ease of checking in over the phone. The room was very clean, very nicely decorated, and the bed was quite comfortable. Love it!
A mix of nice touches (decor, comfortable bed) with inadequacies (no bureau surface in room, bath had no ounter space and difficult shower, strangely thin/spotty breakfast).
Love the view outside our hotel and the king size bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and the continental breakfast was awesome.
