The room and beds weee fine, check in clerk very nice. But the HVAC was very noisy and kept us awake. Other rooms had same problem according to our friends.

Nice-sized room with huge clean jacuzzi tub and plenty of hot water. Would have rated "Room Comfort" higher if it wasn't for Housekeeping making very disturbing noise early in the morning in room directly above. This was very upsetting and prompted a call to front desk.

Good location- just a short drive to Tanglewood. Great room size and amenities. We found the breakfast somewhat disappointing- the only down aspect of our stay. Very small dining area and warmed over pre-packaged omelette.

Comfortable bed. Tiny breakfast space. Very anonymous quality.. Quiet. Ok for what we needed .

Nice hot tub and tv. Very old uncomfortable bed and no hbo on channel 3 as claimed................................................................

It was very pleasant. At the end of the day I came back to a nice clean room and in the morning I enjoyed a nice complimentary breakfast. The location was good for me and the room was quiet allow though it was on a very busy road.

The price was very low for 2 nights, the location was really good, clean, comfortable. The breakfast was just okay and some of the staff needs to be more informed about things to do in the area. Overall though we were happy with the hotel.

Really fine. We booked here so we could attend Tanglewood concerts and found the location to be very convenient- maybe a 20 minute ride away. We had a huge room with jacuzzi which we couldn't use because that would have cost extra but we sure appreciated the space. Breakfast was fine for me- cold cereal, English muffins and the usual morning beverages. I was very pleased.

Staff was professional and knowledgeable. They even let us in early. Room was comfortable, clean & fairly spacious. I will definitely stay there again.

It's a typical HoJo in all that it offers, however, the "Jacuzzi" is not a public hot tub as is advertised on most of the sites which feature this inn, but rather a private jacuzzi only available in the most pricey rooms. This is especially disappointing since we chose this more pricey option because of the amenities. Soda machines were empty, (and possibly broken?) and the morning receptionist was a complete jerk, making fun of my buddy and I for keeping our waffles in the waffle-maker too long (not kidding) and wouldn't let up for 10 minutes. A cheap overnighter, and nothing more. We should've gone for a cheaper inn which didn't lie about what they have to offer.

Pleasantly surprized. Nice roomy 2 br, was clean, comfortable. Thought road noise might be a problem, but we slept well. Little extras like comfy reading chair and heat lamp in bathroom made the difference.

Needed a place to relax and get away for a night. This was perfect. Clean, quiet and the staff was wonderful. Will have no problems going back.

I was in Lenox to run a 10K at Tanglewood, so this was a quick get in and get out trip for me. The Hotel was located less than 10 minutes from the site, was located in a good area with a few places to chose from to dine. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were clean. Staff was friendly and manager was helpful

great deal for the price. Staff was friendly. would definitly stay again if back in the area

My wife and I were at a seminar in Lenox ,Ma and were hoping to save a few dollars and stay in a motel instead of some of the many beautiful inns in the area. We both agree spending the extra money would have been a good idea. Room was average for what we were paying for. We had asked for a room with one queen bed and ended up with two beds instead. the shore curtain was on a sloping rod so we could not keep it closed. Also the front of the air conditioner fell off during the middle of the night and scared us both. We ended up putting that back on ourselves. The back to the T.V. remote was missing so the Batteries kept falling out. Sunday morning was the deal breaker. We went down to a ordinary continental setup for breakfast and decided to have a Belguim Waffle. I made one up and took it out of the waffle iron, but left the top down it started beeping while I showed another guest how to use the iron. In from the desk came a man waving his arms and asking who was burning a waffle. All of us said no one was and he kept repeating someone was and there were only three of us so one of us had to do it. He said he was the weekend manager Ken, and he said why did you lie are you embarrassed? The older gentleman guest from room 114 ( his t.v. remote did not work)showed Ken that know waffle had been burned, but Ken did not believe us. After the gentlemans waffle came out of the iron, Ken took it from him and proceeded to show me how a proper waffle is cooked. All three of us were trying to get him to drop the whole thing. This lasted for more than five minutes. We and our fellow guest left when the next couple came in and started making their waffle. To give credit to the Saturday night manager and cleaning folks who were very nice.

This was not a bad place to stay but offers nothing special other than a convenient location and a clean room all run by friendly people. There was certainly nothing luxurious about the place but I would recommend it if you were looking for a place that was priced well and you got what you paid for. Only thing that did not impress us was the town itself - very quaint, old style, small specialty & gift shops, museums etc. but in old town style - walking was required. Also, it definitely was not a "peak, seasonal season because the sidewalks rolled up after 6 -hard to find suitable eating establishments open late.

The rooms were dirty and had a bad odor. The breakfast has horrible and we actually got yelled at by the manager for not knowing how to use the waffle maker. The manager was very rude at all times and he shouldn't be in customer service!! Poor overall experience!

The small staff at the hotel/motel were lovely. Continental breakfast was adequate, but there was not enough seating for a crowd. The room was a bit cramped and needs updating. The beds were very comfortable, but the air conditioning was a bit dicey. It was certainly adequate for a short stay and was very close to downtown Lenox and Tanglewood. Route 7/20 is a good access road to Berkshire towns. Try Panda, a nice Chinese restaurant just south of the hotel. The place stayed erect during Hurricane Irene, and that's a plus! D & B from NYC

Good size room with kitchen and private beach. Quiet and comfortable.

We were here for two nights. It was centrally located for what we did. We visited Norman Rockwell Museum, and visited other little towns around. The pool was very convenient for our daily exercise program. It was a little difficult getting two large suitcases up a flight stairs. The breakfast was very minimal. No fruit, no eggs.
