This resort has a serious problem with the number of steps and the hills. When we arrived the reception informed us that they had a number of large maintenance jobs that started at 10.00 each day and went on to 18:00. After a discussion they put us in an apartment which looked very good and away from the noise but it had a double bed and we needed to have two single beds. Eventually we got another apartment which had single beds. Our apartment had a large bedroom, a well fitted kitchen, a large sitting room and a well positioned veranda, superb for catching the sun from midday onwards. It had a table with four chairs and two loungers and overlooked the pool. The apartment has plenty of wardrobe space and is very comfortable. Some of the apartments overlook the square were the bars are noisy until around midnight. There is also an alleyway on the complex which has more bars. There are plenty of good bars near to the complex which serve good meals and cheap beer. Both pools have their own appeal and the complex is well run. Extras include Wifi (in this day and age?)at around 5euros per day, extra for bath towels and the gym is not only poorly equipped but also expensive. Not a bad holiday but remember the steps, hills and noisy workmen.

Love this resort, we have been going on and off since 1986. Has 2 pools one of wnich is heated. This leads to the only negative thing which is sunbed hogging. There is a policy of no saving sunbeds and removal of towels but this is not adhered to. We were in an apartment near the pool and witnessed every morning people queueing to lay their towels on the beds, they then leave for 1 to 2 hours and the towels are not removed this means that anyone that actually wants to go to the pool after 9am cannot find a bed! We, and other have complained so hopefully this will change. Otherwise, the resort is well maintained and all of the housekeepkng staff are wonderful. There are a few restaurants on site including some that are near the entrance and people come to the resort just for those. Love it there and will be returning as soon as possible.

The hotel was brilliant we had one of the new 2 bedroomed refurbished apartments, there was 4 adults and 2 children age 2 and 1, both bed rooms had there own bathroom and shower which was great, there was plenty of space, we stayed for 10 nights the beds were made 3 times and apartment cleaned 3 times in this time. The apartment was modern our room was close to all pubs bars and had good access from the apartment will definitely be going back again.

Our two family groups have just returned from a weeks vacation at the Sunset Bay Club April 30th - May 7th 2018. We had reserved two one bedroom apartments for our stay and after consulting other reviews had asked for two rooms away from the block d area. On our arrival the management had tried to accommodate our request , but due to the resort being busy this had proved difficult. So for the first night of our stay part of our group were split between block C & D. Unfortunately I was part of the older family which occupied room D205 for the one night. I can only confirm what other reviews have commented on regarding the evening noise etc. Unless you enjoy late night revelling I would stay clear of the rooms in this block, especially if you are planning to stay with kids.To be honest we enjoyed little rest our first night after a long flight and late arrival. The bars and staff along the lane adjacent to D block are great and we ourselves enjoyed a few good nights well into the wee hours. But for people looking for normal sleeping times on holiday this is not the area to be in. To be fair to the Management they were quick to sort us out the following morning and we were then allocated a room in block C (C402) near to the rest of our group in (C204). Both one bedroom apartments were clean and spacious and more than adequate for our requirement. Both the double bed in the rooms and the fold down double sofa beds were very comfortable and the balconies with sun loungers and outdoor dining facilities afforded a view of the main pool . With the bonus point being that very little late night noise was heard from the frivolities at the bars. The rooms had tv's with many of your normal UK channels and USB sockets as well as standard electrical for all your IT equipment. The resort has two swimming pools with one small pool at the top of the resort which is heated with a Jacuzzi . This pool seemed to attract the early morning queuing brigade and was usually busy even for low season. Our group stuck to the larger main pool which was definitely colder but benefited from being closer to all the other facilities if you wanted a meal or drink etc. The majority of the bars in the resort are great for both food and drink at very competitive pricing. We enjoyed eating at Gerry's bar while at the pool during the day and Hoopey's bar at night next the the Widnes arms. If you are out and about during the day or night the resort is in a good location ideal for the main strip and easy walking for both Costa Adeje and Playa de Americas. In all our group enjoyed our stay at Sunset Bay Club and would recommend it. Just remember the D Block detail in the Diamond though!

Excellent resort in perfect location. 1 bed apartment with everything you would need for a holiday , including dishwasher, spotlessly clean and friendly bstaff. Lovely balcony with sunloungers for lazy days.

This is my 3rd visit to this resort and I find it to be most welcoming and enjoyable. The standard of the upgrades are perfect making the apartments very comfortable. The staff are painstaking and preserving and I certainly will be returning in the near future.

After a problem with our first room we got moved to a beautiful refurbished double apartment. All the mod cons and very well finished. This was block B near the large pool but it’s far enough away from the bars. Best breakfast by far on site is in Micky O’Mallys bar. Large pool not heated but is the best pool. Lots of bars and eating places to choose from on site. Will definitely be booking to come back.

The complex and rooms were clean and up to date, All the staff were friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome. Our only downside was that the largest pool was not heated and very cold, the other pool was lovely but busy.

We have stayed in Sunset Bay many times now and will be going again this year. The location for us as a family is perfect and all amenities are literally on your doorstep. Its only a 5 min stroll to the beach if you dont fancy a dip in the 2 pools on the complex. Apartments range from 1 - 3 bedrooms and have always been spotlessly clean. Would recommended.

Having worked and stayed in this hotel a many times the first family holiday had to be here. Love the little pool for kiddies as my 1 year old loved jumping in. Will be back in aug 18 with another family adventure.
